Cecelia has worked on Schmear It food truck since December ‘of 2013. Very early on, she demonstrated her work ethic of flawless and constantly improving execution, and she continues to epitomize this in every aspect of the job. Cecelia is proficient in customer service, working the window of our truck with an always pleasant and accommodating attitude. She excels on the line, making bagel sandwiches of the highest quality with accuracy and speed. She is an excellent employee ~ she internalizes instruction and is always reliable, responsible, and trustworthy ~ but goes well beyond the basics Cecelia has taken initiative to become ServSafe certified and a manager on our truck when 1 ‘am not present. She has led our efforts to create new “schmears,” thinking through and testing different ingredient combinations. Similarly, she has taken the lead on developing ‘our bagel chip recipe for both sweet and savory varieties. As Schmear Its still a small and ‘young business, Cecelia's work ethic and attitude continue to contribute to our company culture, She enjoys the opportunity to shape direction, not just follow an established course. Based on my continued observations as Cecelia’s employer, I have no doubt that she will be ‘a model student at the Restaurant School and will succeed in the field of Food Service and Hospitality.
