Right Triangles

A right triangle is a triangle with 90 degrees. The sides a, b,


and c of such a triangle satisfy the Pythagorean Theorem.

Pythagorean Theorem states that the square of the


hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the other
two sides.

Trigonometry deals with the relations of the sides and


angles of triangles and with the relevant function of any
angles.

Circle

Diameter is a segment that has endpoints on the circle and that


passes through the center of the circle also the length of that
segment.

Radius is a segment whose endpoints are the center of a circle


and a point on the circle.

Secant is a lne that intersects a circle at two points.

Tangent is a line that is in the same plane as a circle and


intersects the circle at exactly on point

Chord: is a segment whose endpoints lie on a circle.
