PROCESS TO UPGRADE RELIANCE AC2791 DATA CARD

Tools Required To Upgrade AC2791 DATA CARD.

1) Computer system with operating system Win XP, Service Pack 3 onwards.
(Ensure this system is stand alone/No security Policy applied) /has Admin rights to install the software
& data card)
2) Upgrade Software Process to upgrade the AC2791 data card.
1) Plug in the data card & install the dialer application. Once the installation is complete an
Reliance PRO-3 icon is created on the desktop as shown below. Close the dialer application in case if it
opens after installation. If the dialer application is already installed, please ignore this step & move to
step no: 2.

2) Right Click on Reliance Pro-3 icon on desktop & select Properties from the menu.
Below window will open up. Select the Find Target button.

3) Once the Find Target button is selected below Window will open. Kindly search for App.exe file &
rename it as App.ex (you can rename it with any name).

4) Close all active applications running.

5) Insert the data card if not plugged in.
6) Now run the upgrade software AC2791_V3_Updater_AC2791_V3_Reliance_YU9AD615 150610.exe

GREEN TICK INDICATE THE DATA CARD IS CONNECTED TO THE SOFTWARE. NOW SELECT START BUTTON

7) Once the start button is selected, the process will begin as shown below.

8) Once the Task Completed is displayed, remove the device. The device is now upgraded with the
latest software.
9) Repeat from step no: 5 to Step no: 8 if there are more than one data card to be upgraded.
10) Before using the software upgraded device AC2791 on the user system, make sure you uninstall the
previous version of Dialer application. You can uninstall the same by going to
Start/Windows Menu Programs Menu Reliance Pro 3 Uninstall Reliance Pro 3
11) Now Plug in the software upgraded data card in the user System and complete the installation
process.
Important Note:
1) The system on which the data card software is upgraded has a power back up in case of power
failure.
2) Ensure this system is stand alone/No security Policy applied) /has Admin rights to install the
software & data card
3) During software upgrade do not unplug the data card.
4) Most important, uninstall any previous version of dialer application on the system on which the
data card need to installed/Used. Plug in the software upgraded data card into the system & install
the Dailer application from the data card.
