The Rifleman is the backbone of any infantry squad or unit. Riflemen are the
most versatile element of a Fire Team, the british rifleman is usually equipped
with the L1A1 (FN FAL ) shown below as well as a variety of hand grenades.
The duties of a Rifleman include :
Listen to your team leader and follow their directions. Fire team and
Squad Leaders are typically the more experienced players. Their role is
to try to keep you alive and in the fight, while accomplishing whatever
mission the squad may be tasked with. Listen to them and stick with
your team.
Scan for, spot, and call out enemy contacts. Do it so that everyone
can hear you. When giving the direction of contacts, relative directions
(front, left, rear, right) can be used when friendly forces are moving, if
not compass directions and degree bearings should be used.

This is the FN FAL used by all british infantry rifleman in the cold war era.
It is chambered for 7.62 x 51mm NATO rounds into a 20 round mag and
has an effective range of 800m.

They are not offensive grenades, rather they're used to screen friendly
movements, mask enemy positions and possibly to mark an LZ for a pilot.
Blue- For Marking Helicopter Land Sights (HLSs) for friendly helicopters.
