Reflection on Count of Monte Cristo

In this movie, I felt that the pyramid scheme of

peoples respective status made it seem that the rich and
the powerful enjoy life to its fullest and while the poor
and powerless do so otherwise. They experience every
injustice life has. However, exceptions are that the
choices people make, regardless of their respective status
make them good or bad people. And those who are good,
experience the richness and fullest of life after
undergoing series of torments and sufferings.
Furthermore, this movie depicts the similarity of how
Filipinos were treated during the time of Rizal, where they
are brought injustice just because they are Filipinos. They
are not allowed to study as they please simply because
they are women and they are indios. As this is so, Rizal
drawn the concept of revenge and differentiation of
characters in his two novels Noli me tangere ad El
Filibusterismo.
Thus in the concept of revenge, Rizal made it seem still
unjustifiable as he depict darkness to motivate the
character.
At the end of the day, this movie, Rizals novels, and
alike encourages people to make good choices, despite
the torments each one has been going through. In a
larger perspective, people should collectively be wise in

dealing with societys enemies and anything that would

provoke any unhealthy outcome.
