Four tips to help promote selfregulation at this age:


1.Have a quiet area for the child to
out sounds
2. Redirect the child so they do not get frustrated.
3. Show the child an activity so they dont feel overwhelmed.
4. Talk to themselves while playing.
Assist the child and show them how to stay positive and how they can stay on task.
To assist a child by using hints that allows children to regulate their emotions.
Conclusion:
Children learn emotion, thoughts, and start to understand the environment.
Children grow and observe how self-regulation is in others and skills they learn.
