Photoshoot Planning

Product:
This will be a teenage fashion magazine called Drone.

Theme:
The first cover theme for my magazine will be winter
prep, then the next one will be spring fashion trends,
followed by summer styles and autumn fashion. Having
a magazine cover theme for each season.

Models:
My two male models will be Luke McKay and Jack
Wortley, and my female model will be Leah Barrett.

Locations:
The location for my first magazine cover will be in my
back garden, as there is appropriate lighting to suit the
mise en scene. The next setting will also be in my
house as there is appropriate places for the model to be
photographed. The next model will be photographed in
P.A 20 in front of the white backdrop. And the final
location will be my back garden again, but this time in
daylight.

Equipment needed:
I will require a DSLR camera and a tripod.

Schedule:
I will take my Images in the first week or second week
of January 2016

Contingency plans:
I will have a range of back up plans in order if
everything does not go to plan with my photoshoot. For

example I will check the weather forecast before plan

the exact date for my photoshoot to ensure that it is
not raining outside. I will also have a backup room in
college which will be in the design centre if there is a
problem with me using P.A 20. I will also use backup
models in case my models cannot attend a particular
photo shoot.

Legal:
The Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 applies to
my photo shoot, and means that all content that I
produce will be my own and not stolen off someone
else. The law itself gives the creators of literary,
dramatic, musical and artistic works the right to control
the ways in which their material may be used. If I need
to use any form of content that I have not initially
created or produced, then I will ask for permission to
use the content by the copyright holder to ensure I do
not infringe the current UK law. Privacy law will also
apply to my work as I will have to ensure I do not
infringe upon anyones privacy within my media
content.

Ethical:
There will be a large amount of ethical issues I will have
to take into account when planning my photoshoot.
One would be the appropriateness of the image, in
order to ensure it is appropriate for the target audience
and will not be seen as offensive by anyone; this means
that I should also ensure that the models body
language and placement is not inappropriate. I will also
ensure that there is no imbalance between gender,
sexuality, or race when planning my photoshoot.
