8. I love a dark musical and even better a dark operetta. I honestly
believe I love listening to Kurt Weill more than I love singing it.
His music is so complex and almost un-hummable but that just
makes me want to listen more. His songs are filled with the
desperation of the villainous, depraved and misunderstood. I love
operettas because you can get virtually the entire story from just
listening to the music and everything flows together so
beautifully.
