The CLAT 2016 Notification has been released on December 14, 2015.
The Common Law Admission Test for the year 2016 will be conducted on
May 8, 2016 between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm. Rajiv Gandhi National
University of Law, Patiala, the organizing university of CLAT 2016, released
the notification.
Applications are invited for the Under-Graduate Five Year Integrated BA
LLB (Hons) and Post-Graduate One Year LLM courses. The submission of
online application forms will commence from January 1, 2016. Applicants
can fill the form latest by 11:59 PM on March 31, 2016.
The exam will be held for admissions to the countrys 17 national law
universities of which National Law School University of India, Bengaluru
and NALSAR, Hyderabad are notable. The newest law University of the
nation i.e. National Law University, Mumbai will also admit students through
CLAT from the upcoming session.
General, OBC and Specially Abled Persons (SAP) category candidates will
have to pay a sum of Rs. 4000 and SC, ST candidates will have to pay Rs.
3500 for the exam as the application fee. The application fee is nonrefundable.
