The Bermuda National Trust is a charity, founded in 1970 to


preserve natural, architectural and historic treasures and to
enliven public appreciation of them.
The Trusts programmes and activities are focused in the key
areas of Preservation, Education and Advocacy. Its purpose is
to ensure that Bermudas unique heritage remains protected for
future generations.
In the National Trusts care there are 82 properties, covering 277
acres and representing much of the best of Bermudas heritage
and a rich variety of traditional historic houses, islands, gardens,
cemeteries, nature reserves and coastline. There is also three
museums that display an outstanding collection of artefacts
owned and made by Bermudians, and tell the captivating story
of the islands development.
