Instructional Plan and Presentation Phase I


Partners in Performance: Setting Performance Goals
Critical to the long term success of the organization, establishing
specific, measurable business unit/department and individual
performance goals that align with the organizations goals and
initiatives will positively influence profit, growth and customer
service goals. This course will prepare leaders in the organization
to effectively communicate organizational and business unit goals
and objectives to front line staff, write effective business
unit/department goals and guide individual contributors to plan
and write effective performance goals, including stretch goals, and
ensure development goals are connected to, and enhance the

400 leaders of an average of 4.7 years tenure throughout both
regions and in all markets in the organization. The intended
audience are leaders who are responsible for writing business unit
and/or department goals and/or are responsible for direct reports
setting performance goals. These leadership positions include, but
are not limited to Assistant Vice Presidents, Area Presidents,
Directors, Managers, and Supervisors. Executive staff to include,
but are not limited to Vice President, Senior Vice President and Clevel may attend the course, as inclined to do so, and will be
provided an overview of the course and expectations of the
