The Revolutionary War was a war of Independence, fought by America, the 13 original
colonies, against Great Britain. It was a war fought for Independence from Britain, and their
unfair rule. Each battle exemplifies the united fight against Britain, and the struggle that the
colonies faced.
It is clear that through this graph, even though Great Britain was a reinforced, wealthier
country, the young colonies were able to band together and fight back against Britain. The
amount of casualties for each battle are in close proximity of one another. That being said, it is
clear that there is not one definite victor or superior side, until the Battle of Saratoga. This battle
gave the Americans hope for a victory, and it predicted the colonies defeat of Great Britain. It
was a turning point of the Revolutionary War, and represented the patriots will to fight and hope
for independence. Without this war, and this revolution, the United States would not be in
existence, and the world would must definitely be very different.
