The font used on the

Rolling Stone magazine

is excellent. I think it is
clear to understand and
stands out well. I think
it would maybe go well
with my magazine as it
is for a similar genre.

VERDANA
I like the font above,
as I think that it is
plain and cool which
fits perfectly with my
genre as well as it
standing out as it is
quite imposing and

The font used

for the billboard
magazine is
plain which I
think suits my
genre, but
however I
believe it is
more associated
with pop and as
my genre is
indie rock, it

Out of the 4 fonts to

the left, Rockwell
condensed is my
favourite because of
its simplicity, along
with the way it stands
out which I think suits
indie rock perfectly.
AR Berkley is my least
favourite as I find it
fairly difficult to read
which also means that
my audience would
and also I dont think
that it associates itself
with indie music.

The font below is an

interesting one as it
looks like someone
has hand drawn it. I
like that style as
again the simple
nature of it goes
well with my genre.
It is also very bold
and stands out
which allows the
title and therefore
my magazine to be
recognised easily.

GULIMCHE

RAVIE

This font I think would be more suitable for

a contents or double paged spread in a
magazine rather than the front cover. This
is because it doesnt stand out that well but
looks edgy and cool.

I think that this font would be suitable for

a magazine header but not for my type
of genre. I think it looks quite childish
and definitely doesnt suit indie music.
However it stands out well.
