Rolling Stone is a biweekly

magazine that focuses on popular

culture. It was founded in San
Francisco in 1967 by Jann Wenner,
who is still the magazine's
publisher, and music critic Ralph J.
Gleason. It was first known for its
musical coverage and for political
reporting by Hunter S. Thompson.

Clash regularly features

alternative or indie bands in
their magazine but are not
associated with this particular
genre. The name suggests about
clashing bands. This is what I
would like to base my magazine
on.

NME stands for new musical

express and is associated with
alternative or indie music.
Theyre not specifically
dedicated to this genre as they
also commonly have different
genres featuring in their
magazine.
