Drones: Episode 28: Share The Love

You want to know what?! Ruin yelled in a dark library room as Riuka & Rala stood
in front of her. We want to know all that you can tell us about the mythical creature
known as Phoenix. Rala exclaimed. Do you have any idea just how dangerous a
phoenix is?! Ruin yelled angrily. No, which is the reason we are asking you to tell
us about them. Riuka explained.

Ruin paused. As almost everyone knows, Phoenixs are birds that are made of
complete fire. If they are killed or die, they simply re-spawn from the ashes they
leave behind. In other words, they are almost impossible to kill. Despite that, they
have been hunted to near-extinction in the distant past. Because of this, what
Phoenixs that remain have become ferociously hostile towards any other living
being. They will toast anything & or anyone on sight. Ruin explained.

I heard that there is a chance that they can bond with people, bestowing their
regenerative properties upon their chosen ones, is that correct? Rala inquired.
Yes. The Phoenixs have been known to bestow their blessing upon a select few,
but it is rare for one to do so. Even in the past, has been less than ten who have
received such an honour. Why do you ask? Ruin asked, becoming increasingly
uneasy about the conversation.

One last question, after this, our goal will undoubtedly become obvious, is it safe to
assume that they can also bestow their blessing upon corpses, in turn bringing
them back from the dead just once? Rala asked. Ruins eyes shot open, growing as
wide as golf balls. Youre not planning to? She began. Yes, that is exactly what
we are planning. If anyone can help us accomplish this, its you. You have the most
knowledge on mythical & legendary creatures. If anyone can help us find a phoenix,
its you. Riuka interjected.

What you are asking could turn out to be the gravest mistake the academy has
ever made. If you really are serious, you both could easily end up dead as well
Ruin warned. Were well aware of the worst case scenario. But something must be
done Rala noted. I must be insane for what Im about to say but very well. I
will lend my assistance. But youll need an adequate team for the task you are both
planning to undertake. What you wish to do, cant be done without others assisting

us. Ruin advised as she crossed her arms. Leave that to me. Ill assemble a team
by the end of the day. Riuka acknowledged with a nod.

***Location Change ***

Ripp slowly opened his eyes, only to find Nalla curled up on his chest. She was
staring up at him with a flirtatious smile. Morning Nalla. He greeted her. Nalla took
out the lollipop that was in her mouth & planted her lips against his. Ripp just stared
as she drew back & put the lollipop back in her mouth, her grin growing slightly
wider. Ripp could taste the residue from the lollipop mixed with Nallas saliva; it
tasted sweet, yet sour. As Ripp tried to get up he felt his head suddenly go fuzzy, as
Nalla crawled down the bed, he suddenly blacked out. When he awoke, Nalla was
standing by the mirror doing her bra up.

W-what happened? Ripp asked groggily as he struggled to see straight. The

lollipops I usually suck on are strong enough to cause anyone aside from me to
black-out instantly. I was surprised when it took a few seconds to conk you out. That
being said, once it did, I decided to have a little drink. Nalla remarked as she
licked her lips. Ripps face went beat red, which made Nalla giggle. Still flustered
about being intimate, I take it? Nalla asked as she put a hoodie on.

Ripp nodded silently as he crawled out of bed. By the way, how is the new music
working out for you? He asked curiously. It helps quench some of my lustful
desires, but unfortunately, not all of them. She replied as she put her skirt on. So
is that why you decided to drug me? He asked as he slipped into his jeans. Nalla
giggled with a nod. You know You didnt haft to drug me. All you had to do was
ask Ripp stated as he crawled into his own hoodie.

I know, but its more fun my way. Nalla teased as she bent over, purposefully
flashing Ripp as she slid her socks on. Ripp turned away, trying his hardest not to
look. I wonder what Rala & Riuka could have wanted with Ruin. I mean, what could
be so important that not even I would be allowed to know? Ripp pondered. Who
knows? I mean there isnt a lot that Ruin could help with that no one else could.
Nalla answered as she stood back up.

Thats true. Ripp noted as he grabbed his & Nallas schoolbags. As they exited the
room, Ripp could of sworn he saw someone down the hall to his right. Instinctively
he transformed into Rift & took to the air. He flew down the corridor after the figure
he thought hed seen. As he rounded the corner, he just barely saw a pink drone
round the corner down the hall. As he made his way down the hall he noticed

something odd about the air. As he rounded the corner, he noticed that his vision
was becoming blurry.

He could no longer see clearly. He remembered the feeling from earlier that
morning, when Nalla had kissed him. Oh, come on! Not again! He yelled as he
fell to the ground, & blacked out. When he came to, Nalla was carrying him back to
their room.

Where did it go? He mumbled. Where did who go? Nalla asked as she stopped
& helped Ripp down. I saw a drone One Id never seen before I tried chasing
it But I blacked out. What is odd is I dont know why All I remember was a funny
smell moments before I collapsed. Ripp explained. Do you think we should warn
Riuka? Nalla asked. Maybe after class has ended. If we dont hurry we will be late,
wont we? Ripp asked. We are already late, youre cat nap lasted a whole three
hours. It actually wasnt easy finding you, you moved so quickly that I could hardly
tell which direction youd gone. Nalla admitted.

Wed better hurry then, before we miss class completely. Ripp noted as he put a
hand on Nalla. Nalla braced herself, as Ripp teleported them to just outside the
class door. Can you walk? Nalla asked. Not yet, whatever put me out has messed
with my nervous system. Ripp answered. Alright hold on. Nalla remarked as she
knocked on the door.

Mrs. Hellen opened the door, & was about to reprimand them when she saw Ripp.
What happened? Mrs. Hellen asked in shock. Well, long story short, I kind of ran
into a trap set by an unknown drone, & now I cant walk. Ripp remarked. He still
wanted to attend class Nalla added. The whole class joined Mrs. Hellen, & began
murmuring when they saw Ripp. Ripp blushed scarlet. Man this is embarrassing
He mumbled under his breath. Would one of you help Nalla with getting Ripp to his
seat please? Mrs. Hellen asked as she returned to her own desk. All but one of the
girls returned to their seats.

Standing in front of them was a girl with long purple hair that covered her eyes
completely. She wore a long pink kimono that cut off around her waist, with a long
frilly pink skirt below the waist. She wore long rose-coloured velvet boots.

Nalla didnt recognize the girl that was still standing in front of them. Ive never
seen you before! Nalla remarked in surprise. The girl didnt reply, but walked over
& lifted one of Ripps arms over her shoulder. Nalla grabbed the other one & did the

same. Together they helped Ripp over to his seat. Man This stinks Unable to
walk on my own Ripp grumbled in his seat.

Nalla sat beside him, while the new girl returned to her seat. Since our new student
has been introduced to everyone else, I guess Ill haft to re-introduce her to the two
of you. Mrs. Hellen remarked. This is Ashley Leona Anna-bell, a new member of
the academy. She joined quite recently. It is unknown how she joined or what she
can do, but none the less, I hope you will welcome her all the same. She hasnt
spoken a single word yet, so we are assuming she is a mute. Mrs. Hellen explained.

Ripp watched the girl suspiciously for a few minutes until finally turning his focus
back to the class, unaware that the girl had been watching him the whole time due
to the hair covering her eyes. Once class was over Ripp was packing his things up,
when Ashley approached him. Ripp glanced at her as he struggled to get up, only to
fall to the ground. Ashley bent over & began helping him up. As his face drew near,
Ripp could smell something peculiar. Moments later the smell disappeared. As the
two stood up, Ashley let go, causing Ripp to panic momentarily, until he realized he
was standing on his own.

He began stretching his limbs. Suddenly a chill ran down his spine. He slowly turned
towards Ashley, but she was already gone. Hurry up, Ripp! Nalla called out. Hey
Nalla, did you see which way Ashley went just now? He asked curiously. What do
you mean? Ashley left five minutes ago. Nalla answered back.

I knew something was strange about her the moment I saw her! He growled as
he transformed into Rift & flew down the hall. He flew aimlessly down numerous
halls until he found Ashley in a hidden garden area, that not many members knew
about. It was one Nalla had shown him once before.

Ripp returned to his human form. You were the drone from this morning, werent
you?! He accused loudly. Ashley turned around, & backed away. Her body language
told him he had scared her. You were the one that made me black out But why
would you cure me of whatever you caused? Just what are you after?! He pressed.

II The girl stuttered quietly. Ah! So you can speak! He remarked loudly. I
didnt want to hurt anyone She squeaked quietly. But you wouldnt
stop chasing me She sobbed. What did you do to me exactly? Ripp asked
curiously. This isnt How I want things to start She mumbled. What are you
talking about? Ripp asked in confusion.

Love is in the air The girl squeaked, as her body suddenly grew larger, pink
armour forming around her body. Pink eyes flashed to life as she approached Ripp.
Ripp was about to transform when the girl placed her hand over his mouth. If this
is not how she wants a friendship to start, then this is not how it will start. The
drone remarked as she blew a cloud of dust in Ripps face. She slowly removed her
hand & shattered her armour. Ripp stood in place, as he inhaled the dust. He
seemed to be in a daze as he stared off into space. Ashley reached up & shook his
arm, until Ripp snapped out of it.

What was I doing here, again? He asked. Ashley shrugged before offering him a
cookie. Hmmm? A cookie? Are you sure? He asked. The girl nodded bashfully.
Well if you insist Ripp remarked as he accepted the cookie. Still, I wonder why I
came here It has to have been important Ripp remarked before taking a bite
out of the cookie. Hey! This is pretty good! Did you make this yourself? He asked
enthusiastically. The girl nodded slowly, as she began fidgeting bashfully.

What exactly did you just do to him? A voice called out, startling Ripp & Ashley.
Violet & Venom entered the room & glared at Ashley. Ashley backed away & shook
her head as if to deny having done anything. Dont play dumb, we saw everything,
including you talking to him. Dont think the whole mute routine will fool us as well.
Venom announced loudly. The girl hung her head. What is going on? Ripp asked,
confused by what was happening.

I think I get it now That dust she used must have whiped his memory clean.
Violet deduced. How far back does that dust clear his memory? Venom asked
hostilely. Anywhere from five minutes to ten years Ashley remarked quietly.
Youve got to be kidding me! How far back did you reset his memory?! Venom
asked as she approached Ashley threateningly. Ashley began to panic, & before she
knew what she was doing she had exhaled another cloud of dust at Ripp, who
inhaled it obliviously. As Venom was about to grab Ashley, she found herself tackled
into the wall by Port. Ashley then ran behind Port who turned to Violet.

What did you do to him now!? Violet growled as she backed away. Ripp, theyre
scaring me! Ashley cried out. Port suddenly blinked out of sight. Violet turned to
run but was knocked out, by Port, who punched her in the gut. Ripp Violet
coughed before falling to the ground as well. Are you okay? Port asked. Ashley
nodded, hiding her tears with her hair. What have I done? She thought to
herself. Port walked over & lifted her into his arms as he shattered his armour.
Please Forgive me She sobbed in her head as Ripp carried her out of the
room.

As he walked down the hall, Nalla spotted him. Hey, Ripp! She called out. Ripp
turned around & stared at her as she walked up. Hmmm? Do I know you? Ripp
asked curiously. Nalla laughed. Very funny, you shouldnt run off like that without
telling me. She lectured him. Im sorry, but I have no clue who you are. Now if
youll excuse me, my little Ashley is feeling tired. Ripp remarked before walking off.

Nalla stared in disbelief as she sunk to the floor. She began tearing up as she
watched him vanish from sight. What? She exclaimed, completely confused
about what just happened. Ashley burried her head against Ripp as all the thoughts
of the repercussions of her actions flooded her mind. The longer this goes on The
harder its going to be to fix I just wanted to make a friend Why? Why is this
getting so out of hand, so fast? She wondered to herself. Hey Ripp! Another voice
called. As Ripp turned around, he was punched so hard that he blacked out. As he
fell to the ground, Ashley was pinned to the wall.

We need to talk. A man remarked as Ashley struggled to breath. Who are you?!
She screamed as she thrashed around frantically. Cameron Takaru Todwell. He
answered as he glared at her hostilely. As Ashley tried to exhale more dust,
Cameron placed his hand over her mouth. That may have worked on the others,
but Ive seen you use that move since the day you discovered it. Its not going to
work on me. Nor will any of your other moves. So dont even think about changing
into Love. He warned her as he slowly lowered her down, but kept her pinned to
the wall, by her throat. You targeted my little brother. And at first your intentions
were pure enough. But you have officially crossed the line of what Im willing to
accept. You just harmed someone very dear to my little brother emotionally. I will
not let you proceed down the path you are choosing. He stated loudly. GOOD! I
DONT WANT TO PROCEED LIKE THIS! I JUST WANTED A FRIEND! I DIDNT WANT IT
LIKE THIS! She screamed in tears as she broke down.

IM TIRED OF HAVING NO ONE TO BE FRIENDS WITH! IM TIRED OF BEING ALONE!

She screamed through her tears. In all your life, that is the loudest youve ever
raised your voice. Cameron remarked calmly. WHAT DO YOU Ashley paused as
his words sank in. Finally, it seems you understand. Yes, I know all of what youve
been through. Its my job, as overseer of time. If anyone understands your suffering
other than you, its me. He exclaimed. Now, if you want, Id be willing to help you
correct this little mess youve made. Cameron offered. PLEASE! Ashley begged
desperately. Alright, then come with me. Cameron instructed as he threw Ripp
over his shoulder & offered her his hand. Ashley took his hand as they walked down
the hallway.

*** Location Change ***

Nalla sobbed with her head burried in her pillow, when suddenly there was a knock
on the door. GO AWAY! She yelled. Suddenly the door was blasted off its hinges. I
gave you a chance to open it peacefully. Cameron remarked as he entered the
room with Ripp & Ashley. What do you want?! She snarled upon seeing Ashley &
Ripp. Ashley has something she would like to say. Cameron answered. Go on,
Ashley. Cameron encouraged as he nudged her forward. Ashley fidgeted nervously
as she, too, began to cry. Im sorry For all the trouble Ive caused I didnt mean
for you to get hurt Ashley sobbed. What do you mean? Nalla asked as she
dried her own tears. I will explain. Cameron exclaimed. Ashley here has been
trying to make friends, but has been going about it in the wrong way. Though her
intentions were at first, pure. Things quickly went downhill, & snowballed; leading to
many people being harmed. Ripp has inhaled various types of dust, each of which
caused different reactions. Cameron explained.

So earlier? Nalla asked. Cameron nodded. Nalla sighed in relief. Ashley sobbed
uncontrollably. Im so soo sorry! She cried as she shook violently. Nalla walked
up to her, kneeled down, & wrapped her arms around the girl. If you wanted to be
friends, all you had to do was ask, you know Nalla whispered in her ear. The girl
hesitantly wrapped her arms around Nalla as she broke down completely, letting all
her grief out.

I trust you can handle these two from here? Cameron asked as he placed Ripp on
the bed. Nalla nodded with a smile. Good, then I will attend to Venom & Violet who
Ripp knocked out when he inhaled the third dose of dust. Cameron remarked
before leaving the room. Nalla lifted Ashley up & carried her over to the bed, where
she sat down with her, cradling her in her arms.

Ashley cried herself to sleep. Nalla just rocked her back & forth. Eventually Ripp
started to stirr. When he awoke, Nalla smiled. Morning sleepy. She greeted him.
What happened? He asked. Well, that is complicated. She answered. To sum it
all up, this little one tried making friends in the worst way possible. Nalla
explained. She didnt mean any harm, but unfortunately, that didnt stop it from
happening I think she just needs some guidance and some friends who will be
there for her to help her through life. Nalla admitted. Shall I give Riin a call? Ripp
asked with a grin. Nalla smiled & nodded.

*** Location Change ***

Ashley yawned & stretched as she sat up in bed. It was a dream? I should have
figured There is no way that I could ever have real friends Ashley sighed, as

she began to hiccup, tears rolling down her cheek again. Slowly a hand emerged
from behind her & whipped her tears away. I wouldnt be so sure about that. A
voice remarked from behind her. Ashley turned around & saw Riin, Ciarra, Alice, Vivi,
Nalla, & Ripp standing around her.

After all, you are the newest member of the Girls Dormitory. Riin announced.
Why would you want someone like me in your group? Ashley asked as she closed
her eyes. Its because you are hurting deep down inside. Only those who have
struggled with deep emotional pain are allowed to join our sisterhood. Ripps sort of
a honourary member despite not being a girl. Riin admitted. Hey! Ripp objected.
Everyone except Ashley laughed. Ashley cried silently, but was embraced by
everyone when they saw her crying. From now on, youre never alone. Ripp
whispered.

Even after what I put you through? You, of all people, would forgive & accept me as
a friend? Ashley sobbed. What you put me through doesnt matter. Its why you
put me through it that matters. You just wanted someone to be your friend, after all.
There is no purer motive than that: You didnt do it to cause harm to others, but
rather to try & mend your own pain. Ripp answered.

Ripp, here, has accepted all kinds of people despite causing him numerous
amounts of grief. Its also kind of one of the reasons hes a honourary member of
our group. Vivi explained. Though I am curious What exactly are your powers?
Ripp asked curiously. I manipulate emotions with limitations & influence others by
releasing pheromone dusts, with the help of my partner, Rosie Love She
explained.

So what kind of things did you do to me throughout of the course of today? Ripp
asked, becoming increasingly curious. Well The first dust I used on you was when
you were chasing me. It caused complete paralysis of the legs as well as made you
lose consciousness. The second dust was when you fell onto the ground, that one
removed the effects of the previous one. The third dust I used was actually on Nalla.
It changed her perception of time. The fourth dust was when you had confronted me
in the garden, which erased around ten minutes of your memory. The fifth & final
one scrambled your memories as well as elevated your urge to protect one specific
person. The fifth one was one of my most complex dusts. As such, I only use it when
I feel Im in danger. She answered.

Just try not to make a habit of using it on me, from now on, okay? Ripp asked,
causing everyone to laugh. Hey, Im serious! I barely remember anything from this
morning! Ripp complained. You sure thats the dusts fault? Riin interjected,

causing everyone to laugh harder. Do you remember these? Ashley asked as

she held out a handful of cookies. Ripps eyes shot wide open. Of course, I
remember! How could I forget the cookies! The one you offered me in the garden
was delicious! He remarked as he snatched a cookie & scarfed it down.

See? You remember some things! Riin pointed out, who then paused. There is
something in the cookies that is unscrambling his memories Isnt there? She
asked after a minute of deep thought. Ashley nodded. Dust number six, restores
memory after it has been altered. Can be ingested or inhaled Ashley explained as
she handed Ripp another one. Dust or not, these cookies are bloody delicious! He
remarked as he crammed another into his mouth. Im glad you like them! I wasnt
sure they would be all that good Ashley admitted. What do you mean? Alice
asked. Well to be honest, this is the first time Ive actually used it Ashley
explained meekly.

So Ripp is basicly acting as a guinea pig right now? Nalla inquired. N-No! Thats
not it! Besides, hes my friend! So why would I use him as a guinea pig?! Ashley
objected as she fidgeted awkwardly. Ripp put a hand on her shoulder. I dont mind
being a lab rat if something good could possibly come out of it. Better to be a lab
rat for something that could do good, rather than for something that could cause
harm, right? Ripp remarked. Besides, I know why you did it. Ripp exclaimed.

Ashley hung her head, until Ripp took her into his arms & gave her hug. You
know Ive seen what the other girls went through but we havent seen the things
youve gone through We could understand you better if we knew what youve
gone through Ripp pointed out. Ashley fell silent and hung her head once more.
Im not ready to share it with you all Yet Ashley admitted as she began
crying. Hey! Its no problem! Sometimes its hard to share our past with people we
dont know well enough. When you are ready to tell us, we will be waiting. Until
dont feel bad for keeping your pain where its easiest for you to manage it. Ripp
remarked, trying to cheer her up.

Even though you all have opened up to me I feel bad for not being able to open
up to you all in return. She explained. You dont get it, do you?! Like you said, we
have accepted you But what you dont realize is that we accepted you and your
inability to open up to us for the time being. We accept you regardless of whether
you can share anything youve been through with us or not! So stop going on about
it! Vivi snapped. Ashley burst into tears & ran out of the room. Everyone slowly
glanced at Vivi who was frowning.

*** Location Change ***

Ashley ran down the hall until she ran into Rala who instinctively caught her.
Careful there Amellia Was it? He asked curiously. Ashley She corrected him
as she hid her face from him. Is everything alright? You seem emotionally
distressed. He noted. IM FINE! She yelled as she bolted past, him only to be
grabbed by the arm by him. I can tell a lie a mile away I wont ask you to tell
me what happened But maybe we could go get some ice cream? My treat. He
offered. Ashley sniffled & nodded. Okay She wheezed as she dried her tears
with her long sleeves. Rala gently let go of her wrist & offered her his hand, which
she accepted. The two walked all the way to the cafeteria, where Rala ordered both
of them some popsicles. You know The original owner of this academy used to
love this flavour Rala admitted as the two of them sat on the rooftop, watching
the sky. You mean Riuka wasnt the original owner? Ashley asked curiously.

No The original owner was A very close friend of mine I owe him much But I
failed to repay my debts He gave up everything he had to save another & I
failed to keep from losing it all Rala admitted calmly. How did you know the
original owner? Ashley asked curiously. Youd probably be better off not knowing.
Rala exclaimed. I really want to know! Ashley insisted as she stared into Ralas
eyes. Rala let out a sigh. Alright. Ill explain how I meant the original owner; RaukShao. Rala relented.

It started back when I was just in high school. It was before I even found my drone
crystal. I was often picked on, & I ended up with a bad crowd. I caused lots of
trouble & made many peoples lives harder, Im sure. Eventually, I robbed one guy &
got caught. The police asked if he wanted to press charges, & instead the man told
them to have me stay with him. At first I didnt understand why he would make such
a request But the day after, I found out. The man taught many kids who had lost
their homes & families He taught them about the important things in life. Because
of him, I learned what was really worth living for but He didnt have much longer
in this world & it wasnt long before he was on his deathbed. I wasnt the only one
by his side at the time of his passing. Another whod learned so much from that
wonderful man; another whod become his pupil, was there. When the man that
took us in finally passed away, the other student & I decided we would carry on
where he left off So we built the academy together. Time passed & slowly the
academys student count grew. Then Rauk-Shao & I found the elemental crystals
All the students that had come under our tutelage were asked whether they, too,
wanted the power of the crystals. Even though they were told that the powers
wouldnt be complete, they agreed. Then we started encountering more with
complete crystals anyways Rauk-Shao was the other pupil of the man that took
me in. Rauk-Shao had a similar past He was once a trouble maker as well Rala
recounted with tears in his eyes as he smiled up at the sun.

It sounds like youve lost some people that were truly close to you Ashley
remarked as she teared up. They were my closest friends & my only real family
As my blood related family forsook me when I was still just a child. I had little people
to encourage me to continue on with my life. So Ive always had to find my own way
of moving on Rala admitted.

So youre like me then Ive never had anyone either The closest thing I have to
that is my drone partner Ashley remarked. Suddenly Rala grabbed a bunch of
dust & tossed it over Ashley. Stay quiet for a second He remarked sharply as he
turned back to the sun.

Ashley was about to reply when a voice called out. So this is where you are, Rala!
You havent happened to have seen a girl with long purple hair running around have
you? Were looking for Ashley but we cant find her. Alice asked as she exited the
door to the Academy. No, Im sorry, I havent seen anyone fitting that description,
but if I do, Ill let you know. He answered.

Once Alice was gone, Rala canceled out the cloaking effect of his dust, only to find
that Ashley was not behaving normally. Swirly Swirly She muttered as she
danced around erratically. Rala didnt notice how close she was to the edge of the
roof until it was too late as Ashley danced off the roof top. He ran to the edge to try
& catch her but wasnt fast enough. Out of the ground level alleyway flew Rift with
Crystal & Time close behind. Rift managed to catch Ashley just before she was
about to hit the ground. Crystal & Time scaled the wall up to the roof where Rift had
landed with Ashley in his arms. Rala ran over to him, but was slapped by Crystal so
hard that it left a bruise on his face where her hand had connected.

RALA, YOU IDIOT! She yelled furiously. Rala spun in place from the blow before he
stared at her with surprise. Go easy on him, Lily. He didnt know Time
interjected. Crystal was obviously livid with Rala, who was oblivious as to why.
Noticing this, Time decided to fill Rala in on what had just happened & why.

Rala As you are no doubt aware with Nalla, some drones can be altered so as to
be influenced by different things that normal people wouldnt be influenced whatso-ever by, correct? Time stated. Rala nodded. Nalla is influenced by sound. I was
under the impression that such alterations were rare though Rala admitted.

Yes. They are actually quite rare But that doesnt mean they dont exist. Ashley,
here, is one individual who has been altered in such a manner. I doubt you are
aware of this but Ashley is an emotions element drone. She uses special dusts, but

because she uses so many different kinds of dust, she has developed her unique
allergy over a very short time frame. Inhaling most kinds of dusts can have various
negative effects on her. The type of dust that she inhales will determine the effect.
The effect caused by the kind of dust that you used on her was akin to if she had
drunk two one-liter bottles of alcohol. Basically, she was plastered. Had we not
intervened, this situation could have ended much more tragically. Crystal
explained.

I see Im sorry I really wasnt aware of that. Had I known, I would have reacted
differently. Given the circumstances, Ill give her permission to recover in whatever
room you three think is best for her to recover in. Rala stated as he took Ashley
into his arms. I suggest taking her to one of the sun rooms on the second sub-floor.
Also have Medic tend to her; the girl hasnt recovered from the effects of your
dust or other things, for that matter. Time advised.

Alright Oh & Crystal Please send me a chart showing what dusts cause what to
her while I go tend to her recuperation, so that this doesnt happen again. Rala
remarked as he departed. As he was closing the roof door behind him a crystal
jutted through the door. It seems that she is unable to control her temper I
should make a note of that for next time He remarked without glancing back as
he headed for Suzukas room.

*** Location Change ***

Rala waited beside a sun bed chamber while Medic was controlling the bed chamber
that Ashley had been placed into, via a control panel. He was watching her silently,
something Medic had taken notice of long ago, but had been internally debating
whether to bring up or not.

You know You dont need to stay here watching over her while she recovers
Medic exclaimed as she monitored the screen in front of her. Of course I do Its
my fault she is in this state to begin with It is my duty to make sure she recovers
before I leave. Rala admitted. You seem very out of character today Is there
something on your mind? Normally you are very strict & follow the rules regardless
of the circumstances But today you seem more Loose? You seem less strict &
more open Medic pointed out.

I told Ashley about how I came to work within the Academy But what I didnt
tell her is that I made a promise to the man who had taken both me & Rauk-Shao
in I promised him that I would do my best never to stray down the wrong path

again But Ive been thinking lately & it seems that it is getting harder & harder
to tell what is right, & what is wrong The lines between good & bad seem to be
getting blurred more & more for me as time goes on & Im struggling with how
best to deal with this problem of mine. Since Im one of the leading members of the
Academy if I were to show any uncertainty I often wonder how it would affect all
the others. Rala admitted.

Medic remained silent, unsure of what to say. Even if I go down the wrong path I
want to make sure I make as few mistakes as I can And right now the right
choice is to stay here with her until she has regained consciousness at the very
least. Rala explained.

You know I haft to give you credit You are more of a human than I gave you
credit for. I never knew you actually had a side to you that was not just all follow
the rules to the fullest. I think I actually have a new profound respect for you.
Medic remarked.

Rala smiled softly, when suddenly they heard Ashley make a sound. She rolled over
& seemed to be waking up. So warm Where am I? She muttered in a daze.
Youre safe, dont worry. Just go back to sleep Rala whispered softly. Ashley
seemed to listen as her eyes slowly closed again. She seems to listen to you
impeccably well. Medic pointed out after having observed the two. I cant imagine
why Rala admitted.

Maybe she sees you as someone she can look up to. Speaking from experience, I
can understand why she would seek someone who she can receive advise from,
since she has no parents. Medic exclaimed. How did you know she has no
parents? Rala asked curiously. Well, dont all of the academys students lack
parents? Medic asked. Sadly, no, not all of them are without parents. The
academy takes in all kinds of children without homes. Either those that dont have
one or those who have been forced out of one Rala admitted.

I see So do you turn away those that do not consent to taking on artificial
drones? Medic asked sternly. No, but they are taken elsewhere. There they are
asked if they would like to accept an artificial drone. Those that agree are given one
& then brought here. Those that do not agree, remain at the other building. Rala
explained.

So who runs the other building? Medic inquired. A friend of mine that lacks a
drone spirit but is well aware of their existence runs the other building. Rala

answered. I see Im relieved to know you really have everyones well-being in

mind. Medic sighed as she relaxed. Naturally although Rauk-Shao didnt tell
anyone except those closest to him, I was always helping with the running of the
Academy. I just ran most of the functions of the Academy that no one ever got to
see, while he ran the functions that everyone did get to see. We decided together to
run the Academy in this way so that if anything ever did happen to one of us, that
the other could run it in the others place. Riuka was assigned leadership of RaukShaos duties, but I still retain mine. Rala admitted calmly.

Medic seemed stunned, & didnt reply. Anyways Now that I know she is safe &
resting, I must take my leave. There is still much to do Oh & one more thing.
Please keep what I have discussed with you in this room a secret between the two
of us, please. Rala requested. Medic nodded. Consider my lips sealed. She
responded with a wink. With that, Rala departed the room.

*** Location Change ***

Rift entered the room where Medic was keeping watch over Ashley, along with Riin,
Nalla, Alice, Vivi, & Ciarra. We came to see how she is Riin announced quietly.
Ripp told us what happened Alice explained. Ripp wants to know if its okay
that we stay here until she is able to leave. Nalla remarked as she gently grasped
Rifts claw, who in turn wrapped his claws around her hand gently. Medic nodded.
Vivi walked over to the sun bed & kneeled down silently. She stared inside with
sorrowful eyes.

I never should have snapped at her She thought in her head as she watched
her. Knowing what was going through her mind, the others gathered around her. Rift
put a claw on her shoulder. She closed her eyes & reached up, placing her hand
over his claw. Although nothing was said, they all could understand how each other
felt.

Has she woken up at all? Alice asked curiously. Yes. Around three times now. She
seems to be exhausted, but we cant figure out why Her sentences keep coming
out in fragments. Rift wants to know exactly what she has said so far. Nalla
translated as Ripp looked intently at Medic. Well, excluding the first time which had
to do with a past visitor, the first fragment she said was Must apologize next & the
second was Go away leave. Medic answered. Without another word, Rift ran past
the group & put his claw on her forehead & closed his eyes.

*** Location Change ***

Ripp opened his eyes & found himself in a hazy world. LEAVE ME ALONE!
SOMEBODY HELP ME! Ashleys voice rang out through the mist. Hahaha I told
you already. No one is coming to save you. It wont be much longer now until my
spell works & you fall into an endless unbreakable sleep. Nightmares voice
cackled. Rift raised one of his claws, which suddenly transformed, forming a cannon
port in the palm.

He then launched a salvo of dark energy needles in the direction that Nightmares
voice came from. Moments later Nightmares voice rang out again. Gyah! Who
dares shoot at me?! She yelled as the haze suddenly cleared away. Ashley spotted
Rift & ran towards him as Nightmare also spotted him. WHO DO YOU THINK YOU
ARE, FIRING ON ME LIKE THAT?! She bellowed. THANK GOODNESS RIPP! I
THOUGHT I WAS A GONNER! Ashley called out. R-RIPP?! HOW DID YOU GET IN
HERE! I THOUGHT I BLOCKED ALL INTERFERENCE! Nightmare exclaimed, furious at
the turn of events.

It wasnt hard to figure out you were causing trouble once Medic told me what
Ashley has been muttering in her sleep. Rift remarked mentally to Nightmare.
RIPP! YOU CAN SPEAK! Ashley exclaimed with glee. Only in this world, Im afraid.
In reality, its still limited to just Nalla. Rift remarked telepathically.

HOW CAN YOU PIERCE MY BLOCKADE, I THOUGHT I HAD MADE IT TOO STRONG
FOR EVEN YOU TO BYPASS! Nightmare roared. As Port, or Warp probably but
right now, Im not Port or Warp! He exclaimed as he raised both his claws, which
now both had cannon nozzles. Im Rift, & Ill make you pay for trying to harm
someone dear to me! He roared as he let loose a salvo of massive flame spheres
from his palms. The salvo slammed into Nightmare relentlessly until it caused so
much damage that the three of them were launched out of Ashleys consciousness,
& back into the room in the Academy where her body was.

Ashley slowly woke up as Rift & Nightmare materialized near the bed, surprising &
confusing everyone else present. Ripp?! Whats Nightmare doing here?! Riin
asked in shock. Ripp says she was causing trouble again, & this time, almost
ended Ashleys life Nalla replied after a brief pause. Rift narrowed his eyes.
Moments later, Nallas eyes opened wide in shock. YOU CAN DO THAT NOW?! BUT
YOURE STILL IN A DARK DRONE FORM! Nalla exclaimed, as Nightmare backed
away in fear. She summoned a portal & attempted to escape through it but was
grabbed by Rift who had opened a portal that he stuck his claw through in order to
grab her in time. He then pulled her through the portal & closed it.

FORGIVE ME OMNI-OMINOUS! She shrieked as her armour began cracking.

Seconds later, the armour exploded, revealing a severely bruised & bleeding
unconscious Konako. Ripp gently placed her down on the floor & motioned for Medic
to come heal her. Medic ran over as Ashley stepped out of the bed. Almost instantly,
Vivi wrapped her arms around her & burst into tears. She apologized profusely as
her tears streamed down her face. Ashley smiled & wrapped her arms around Vivi
as well.

*** Location Change ***

Omni-ominous was sitting in a dark spikey throne when an Alter-world Monster

came running into the large cavern. It was making all kinds of noises. It stopped in
front of him & chittered away frantically. Omni-ominouss face changed from
uninterested, to fascinated, to furious. HE DID WHAT?! Omni-ominous roared as he
materialized a large sword & sliced the creature in half. RIPPER TAKARU TODWELL,
YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS! He bellowed at the top of his lungs, causing the whole
cave to rock.

Temper, temper Omni Losing your composure will be your undoing A female
voice remarked harshly. M-Mistress Tannis Lord Cole! What brings you both
from the Alter-world?! Omni-ominous remarked in surprise. Spare us the speech.
We have come to take over command of operations. You are hereby demoted to
commander general. A male voice remarked cruelly.

B-But why?! He exclaimed frantically. We have watched as time & time again,
you have failed in battle at the hands of the Academy. Since you are unable to beat
our son in battle, we have decided that a parent intervention is necessary. The
female voice answered in an annoyed tone. I see If that is how you feel, then I
will not object I apologize for being unfit to face him in battle Omni-ominous
apologized.

Cheer up, we are not without mercy. We have decided to give your power a bit of a
boost, so that you may have a better chance of beating our child in battle. Consider
it a gift for your continued loyalty. Do not waste it. Tannis remarked. Suddenly from
out of the shadows, a large blast of dark energy shot out & zapped Omni-ominous,
who began transforming & growing in size. His large broadswords grew spikes out of
the blades while his knight-like appearance became more demonic. Two red eyes
flashed to life out of the darkness between the slit in his face guard. Two large bat
wings with armour plating emerged out of the back of his body armour.

Gyah-hahahaha! The power is incredible! He laughed malevolently in a deeper,

twisted, tone of voice. We are so glad you like it, now make sure to use it well, &
show them no mercy next time you fight. The male voice ordered as the two
entities faded back into the shadows.

*** Location Change ***

Konako slowly opened her eyes as she floated through an endless hazy fog. She
glanced around, still in a daze.

Am I dead? She murmured out loud.

Not yet, but you are on the brink of death. A voice answered back.

Who said that? Konako responded with alarm.

Do not fear child, I am the spirit of your crystal the true spirit of your crystal.
Thanks to that boy, Ive returned to my regular old self but because of the
prolonged time you spent in that death trap of a suit of armour your body was
mangled inside & out. Without any assistance or intervention, you will not survive
your wounds The voice replied as a pale lavender flame with light pink eyes
appeared in front of her.
So can you save me? Konako asked in a pleading tone as she stared into the
spirits eyes with a growing hopelessness.

That depends on you. You see Like all the other spirits I need a host.
Coincidentally you need help. How about a deal: If you accept me as your partner,
Ill keep you alive until your wounds can be mended. The spirit offered.

Partner? Will that mean you will be able to control me? Konako asked with
concern.

Not really. Think of it more as a friend & someone who will be by your side for the
rest of the duration of our contract. Someone you can talk with & share things with
that you couldnt possibly share with anyone else. The spirit answered.

Konako paused as she considered the spirits offer. She was careful & took her time
to try & think of all the pros & cons of the offer she was being made. After making
up her mind, Konako nodded her consent.

Im not big on being controlled, but if you are willing to do so only in order to help
me Then Ill gladly accept the contract. Konako stated bashfully as she blushed
slightly.

Im relieved to hear you say that, but sadly our contracts are not always so easily
made, unfortunately. In order to solidify the contract, you must chant the
incantation that is engraved on my crystal. The voice explained.

That doesnt sound so hard! So where is it? Konako asked enthusiastically.

Its gone. It was shattered when that armour was destroyed. The voice answered
abruptly.

Now I get what you meant about its not that easy. Konako remarked with a
grimace.

Luckily, there is a way to recover each crystal, though each crystal is recovered
different ways. The only catch is that they can only be recovered if they were
already in the process of choosing a partner before they were destroyed. If you
dream of something most precious to you, my crystal should reform. The spirit
instructed.

Konako fell silent as she curled up & closed her eyes. She clasped both her hands.
Something important? Until recently, I would have replied Quince But now
Im Im not so sure I feel the same way about him as I once did. So if I cant use
him as my important thing What can I use? I dont have anything!!! My whole
life gone & what do I have to show for it? Was it all for nothing? She
thought to herself. Suddenly she remembered something that had happened just
before the others had found her back in the labyrinth.

*** Location Change ***

Hey! Wake up! A voice called out, as Konako struggled to open her eyes. She sat
up in a dark cave, still in a haze. Glad to see youre awake. Are you hurt at all? A
boy asked as Konako managed to open up her eyes.

I dont think so Konako replied. Thats a relief. My names Willson, whats

yours? The boy asked as he helped her to her feet. Konako She replied as she
glanced around the cavern. Oh! Did you happen to find a crystal like this, by any
chance? The boy asked as he held out a translucent silver crystal.

You mean like this? She asked as she held out a lavender crystal with light-pink
swirls in it. I see So my guess was right These things must be connected to us
getting stuck in here. Willson reasoned as he slipped his crystal back into his
pocket. Konako did the same.

HELLO?! IS ANYONE THERE?! Willson yelled out. His voice echoed through the
cavern tunnels, but there was no response. Suddenly the two heard growling. As
they turned around, Willson was tackled by an Alter-world monster. WHAT THE
HECK IS THIS THING?! He yelled as he struggled against it. Konako panicked &
looked around frantically. Without thinking, she picked up a rock & threw it at the
monster.

The rock bopped it on the head, drawing its attention away from Willson, & towards
her. It pounced on her & began trying to eat her. Konako shrieked as she tried
frantically to push it away. Willson now started to panic as he got to his feet.

WHAT DO I DO?! He thought to himself as he looked around frantically.

Man If both of you keep reacting without thinking, this is only going to keep
happening until both of you are dead. A voice remarked inside Willsons head.

Who said that?! Am I losing it? Willson exclaimed aloud as he glanced around.

WILLSON STOP TALKING TO YOURSELF & HELP ME, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!
Konako screamed as the monster kept snapping at her face.

I am Jackson Metallics; the spirit inside your crystal If you wish to help her, you
will most likely need my help. If you agree to be my partner, I will grant you access
to a form with my abilities, which can be used to destroy that creature. The voice
explained.

I ACCEPT YOUR CONTRACT! JUST PLEASE HURRY! I CANT LET HER DIE! Willson
yelled frantically.

WHAT CONTRACT!? WHO OR WHAT ON THIS SIDE OF WHERE EVER THE HECK WE
ARE, ARE YOU TALKING TO?! Konako screeched in frustration & confusion.

Good, then all you need to do is read the inscription on the crystal, which has now
been made legible to you & you alone. The voice instructed.

Willson took the crystal out of his pocket & glanced down at it.

FEEL THE STEEL! He yelled out as Metallics armour formed over him for the first
time. As the crystal disappeared inside of him, he lunged at the monster. GET OFF
OF HER! He yelled as he tackled it into the wall. Konako stared in astonishment &
awe as he offered her his claw. The lighting if the room hit his armour at just the
right angle that it seemed as if it was glowing slightly.

She reached up with a shaky hand, which he took carefully as he helped her up. As
she got to her feet, he noticed the creature had recovered & was charging at them.
Without thinking, Metallics embraced her & turned around so he was in between her
& the monster.

The two were sent flying but Metallics unleashed his chains which he used to ground
them both. He then let go of Konako & redirected his chains at the monster. As long
as Im with you, I will fight to protect you! He yelled as he attached his chains to
the monster. TERRA-VOLT! He yelled as he shocked it with all his might. The
creature faded away in seconds. Metallics withdrew the chains which wrapped
around his arms.

THAT WAS AMAZING! She cheered as he turned back around to face her. Well
It might have cost me big time In order to do what I just did I had to accept a
contract offered to me by a spirit that dwelled within that crystal that I found. There

is a chance that there is a spirit inside yours as well Metallics explained as the
armour faded away.

So I might be able to get a transformation of my own, too?! Konako asked eagerly.

Well, yeah Thats kind of what I just said, isnt it? Willson remarked as he
smirked slightly. So what exactly can that transformation of yours do? Konako
asked curiously.

Its called Metallics & it seems to be able to focus around metal & electricity.
Willson explained. How do you know what its called? Konako inquired. Because
right now, the spirit that gave me access to it, is giving me a full vocal tutorial right
now inside my mind. Seriously, he sounds like a broken calculator Willson
remarked, causing Konako to laugh, which in turn, made Willson smile.

Anyways, until we make it out of here, I guess you & I are stuck together. If you
stay close, Ill keep the both of us safe. Willson exclaimed as the two of them
began wandering the maze theyd found themselves stuck inside.

*** Location Change ***

Konako teared up as the memory flooded her mind. He protected me & I did
nothing to show my gratitude Even though he didnt know me, he shielded me
from a blow that would have killed me Konako thought to herself. Gregary may
no longer be special to me But Ive made up my mind there is still someone who
is special to me! Konako thought as she kept replaying the memory over & over in
her head. Her feelings intensified more & more each time, until finally the intensity
caused the crystal to reform.

Wonderful! It looks like you did it! The spirit cheered. Yeah And thanks to you
I now have a reason to carry on, once more. Konako exclaimed as she took the
crystal into her hands, which she had put together in a cup shape. Let me guess,
there is someone whos on your mind? If he really is the person you want to be with,
then why not enter a marriage pact with him? The spirit suggested.

A MARRIAGE PACT?! BUT IM TOO YOUNG TO GET MARRIED! Konako yelled with a
start. Its not like weddings. Anyone of any age can do it, so long as both people
have a drone spirit. Anyone who wishes to be together for life usually enters a
marriage pact with each other to show their devotion to each other. Though it only

works if both sides consent to it, if youre really serious about your feelings for him,
then a marriage pact will prove to him that you are. She explained.

Konako paused as she considered her spirits words. Alright Ill ask him to enter
one with me Konako admitted, as she turned scarlet. By the way I never asked
your name This whole time Ive been carrying you, & only now has it occurred to
me that I dont even know what to call you. Konako admitted shamefully.

The spirit giggled. Its Cynthia Dream The spirit replied in a cutesy voice before
the spirit faded from sight. Willson Quince never once saved me like you did
Even if it wasnt him to tricked me, you have shown a lot more concern for me than
he ever did & I intend to show you just what it means to me Konako murmured
as she glanced down at her crystal. DARE TO DREAM! She yelled as the crystal
slowly faded away. Konako closed her eyes as her dreams began to come to an end.

*** Location Change ***

WHERE IS KONAKO?! Willson yelled as he burst into the medical ward. Seconds
later, some of his hair was sliced clean off as a flower petal whizzed by him. Lower
your voice or I will take your head off with the next petal. Medic threatened from
across the room. Willson swallowed hard as he froze in place, while Teller, Yoko, Kari,
Angel, & Abra all ran into the room past him. Apparantly news travels fast. Riin
remarked quietly as she glanced over at their new guests. She was seated around
Konako, along with Ripp, Nalla, Ciarra, Vivi, Alice, & Ashley, while Riuka, Rala, & Mrs.
Hellen were talking with Medic.

So the rumors are true! You really did purify her! Teller remarked with
astonishment as he stared at Konako. Wow She almost looks completely healed
from her wounds! Abra exclaimed. You should have seen her when Ripp first
shattered the armour. She looked like shed been turned inside-out. Ciarra
remarked. Medic really is amazing if she can heal wounds that fast! Yoko
exclaimed.

Hey, she wasnt the only one healing her! Ripp also helped, thanks to his crystal
core! Nalla objected. Amazing, Ripp! Simply amazing! Teller exclaimed. I wish I
could say the same Although she looks good on the outside Her insides are still
a wreck. Being in dark drone armour for so long did so much damage that we arent
sure it can even be reversed. I fear for what Gregary will be like if we dont free him
soon, too. As for Konako, we are unsure when she will wake If she will even wake,
that is. Ripp admitted.

Everyone fell silent. H-Hey! Dont be so quick to call me out yet Konako
remarked weakly as she slowly opened her eyes. There were dark shadows under
her eyes. KONAKO! YOUR AWAKE! SUZUKA! RALA! RIUKA! MRS. HELLEN! KONAKO IS
AWAKE! Riin called out frantically. The four walked over as most of the group
around her stepped back. It may be best if the rest of you all go wait in the waiting
room just outside. Im going to stay & help them. Ripp suggested.

Good luck Nalla remarked as everyone left the room, except for Ripp, Riuka,
Mrs. Hellen, Rala, & Medic. W-Where is R-Rauk-Shao Is he busy? Konako asked
with an innocent smile. Well explain later For now you should rest. We are going
to examine your insides now to see how your recovering is doing. Truth be told,
were surprised you are alive let alone awake. Riuka informed her calmly as Medic
& Ripp began examining her. Organ damage is at forty-five percent At least its
better than the previous seventy-seven percent. How is her blood pressure, Ripp?
Medic asked. It seems to be unstable still No change there. Her pulse oddly
enough, though, is stable, which doesnt make sense. Her immune system is also
shot. Ripp exclaimed as he continued examining her.

In other words she shouldnt even be alive right now, should she? Rala asked.
Correct Medic answered grimly. Well, Im not really alive. I died around two
hours ago. She exclaimed with a smile. Wait, what do you? Oh! Of course! Now I
get it! Ripp exclaimed. Get what? Mind explaining things to us? Rala exclaimed in
confusion. Its like when Abra got her drone form! She was basically about to die,
but she made a drone pact with her crystal, who then modified her body in order to
keep her alive! Ripp explained.

So basically She was saved by the spirit in the crystal that Omni-ominous had
corrupted? Wait. If she was saved by the drone spirit in the crystal & that crystal
was the one that Nightmare was created from Doesnt that mean that she will
transform into Nightmare when invoking drone form? Rala asked, baffled by the
situation.

No. She will transform into the entity that the crystal was originally home to.
Riuka answered. There is one question I have. If she is, in the short, a living corpse
right now, why does she still show signs of not even having died? Mrs. Hellen
pondered. She is only not showing signs of having died on the outside. On the
inside, there are tons of signs that she died: everything is in places they shouldnt
be. Medic explained.

It is going to take a few minutes at the least to put everything back where it
originally was. We will see from there how long it will take to reconnect it all. Medic
diagnosed. Ripp, Ill need you to use anesthetics. She instructed. Wait! Before
you do I have one request. Id like it if Willson Hiyomi could be present until Im
able to leave. Konako asked.

Out of the question! Rala objected, only for Riuka to motion to him. If it is just
him, then well allow it. Riuka responded calmly & considerately. Thank-You
She mumbled as Ripp transformed into Port & activated his crystal core, which he
used to transform into his Entoxica transformation, so he could apply the
anesthetics. Konako smiled as the anesthetics began to take effect while Rala left
the room to fetch Willson.

Within ten minutes, Rala returned with Willson as Medic was performing the
operation. She is being kept alive by her drones spirit Rala explained. Willson
walked towards her. Rala tried to stop him, but was blocked by Mrs. Hellen. Weve
already seen what kind of things can occur when certain drones interact. Let him
be, it might prove to help more than anything else, dear. Mrs. Hellen whispered
quietly. Rala reluctantly stood down.

As Willson stood nearby, Medic seemed to look back & forth between the television
they were using for the operation, & the chest cavity that had been open. THIS IS
UNPRESIDENTED! HER ORGANS ARE MOVING ON THEIR OWN, THEIR REPAIRING
THEMSELVES AT A NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN RATE! Medic exlcaimed.

Willson smiled as he drew closer. Hed just figured out that his presence had caused
the change, & knew that the closer that he was, the better her recovery rate would
be, despite not knowing why or how. She must have known, even before she woke
up Mrs. Hellen thought to herself as she watched the events, with a large smile

Medic quickly sowed Konakos chest cavity back up. At this rate, she will be done
within a minute Medic announced as she stood up & stretched. Thata girl,
Konako Willson whispered to himself as he watched her quietly, hiding all of his
relief inside.

A minute later, Konako opened up her eyes slightly. There were bags under her eyes
as she focused on Willson, barely able to make out his silhouette. Will? She
addressed, still groggy from the anesthetics. Hey there, Sunshine. How are ya
feeling? He asked as he kneeled down beside her. Ive been better, but with you

here, Im feeling much better She remarked as she lifted her hand up, weakly.
Willson took her hand just as gently as he had when they first met.

Im not going anywhere so rest up as much as you need. He stated. I I love

you You know I never realized it until I almost died but I love you & I want
you to stick around forever Konako mumbled as she struggled to stay conscious
& aware of what was going on as well as what was being said by her & him.

Konako, slow down, you must be out of it, try & get some rest. Save your energy &
lets continue this conversation when you can process all of what youre saying.
Willson responded. Konako reached over & kissed him weakly, before slumping back
into place in bed. I am aware of what Im saying & I mean every word of it
Konako stated as she stared at him with hazy tear filled eyes.

Riuka motioned for everyone to follow as they left the two alone. Well be in the
next room if you two need us. Riuka alerted the two of them as he, too, left the
room. At the time I was so caught up in what was happening at the time, that I
didnt give it a second thought. But then Omni-ominous He tricked me & I was
thrown into that terrible armour. When I was freed & I was teetering between life &
death There was a moment when I felt like there was nothing worth going on for
nothing of importance that I had left to live for. Thats when I remembered when
you & I first met And how you protected me even though I was just a stranger to
you at the time Konako remarked as she started hiccupping as the tears began to
flow down her face.

She slowly closed her eyes. It was the thought of all that you did for me that made
me keep going I never thanked you for what you did. You gave me everything I
thought I lost so now I will offer you everything I have to give. Konako stated as
she opened her tear-filled eyes, & glanced over at him with a more-awake look in

as he stared back into her eyes. Konako shook her head. No, I didnt haft to think

Even if it wasnt Quince who directly deceived me, I still have lost all love for him as
of the moment it happened. Konako explained as she smiled sorrowfully.

a knock on the door.

Who is it? Willson asked. Its Riuka, the others are wondering if they can also
come see Konako. Riuka called from beyond the door. I guess we will haft to
have our quality time later Konako murmured under her breath to Willson.
Alright, Riuka, you can let them in. Konako called out.

Moments later the door opened as the members walked back in. Konako discretely
hid the choker with her collar as the door was opening, while Willson did the same.
Angel, Abra, Konako, Kari, Yoko, Nalla, Ciarra, Vivi, Alice, Riin, Ashley, Lopp, & Violet
entered the room. Where did the guys go? Willson asked curiously.

There was some kind of practice that the dark liger members had to attend which
Suzuka also was requested to attend, Hawk had to go perform maintenance on

Ruin, Psyker & Casper went to go take a nap, Wisp simply walked off while remaking
to hell with this with Yukiko running after him, we have no clue where Night &
Ralph went, Cameron said there was something he had to attend to, Kelphi is in the
lobby juggling explosive playing cards again, Janelle is back in her lab now, Rala,
Riuka, & Mrs. Hellen all went to go prepare some kind of assembly that will be
taking place later today, & Vincent & Venom went to go prepare the next meal for
the cafeteria together. Riin answered with a heavy sigh.

I must admit, there are some new faces here that I dont recognize. Konako
remarked with interest as she glanced over at Lopp, Ashley, & Violet. We met them
after you went rogue Angel elaborated. This is Angels little lost undead sister,
Violet Alice began to introduce. Wait What do you mean undead? Konako
asked skeptically. We mean she died & was brought back to life as an ice ghost.
Ciarra answered. If she is an ice ghost why is she wearing clothes? Konako asked.

Because they are made of a special material that keeps my body temperature at a
stable level Violet answered for them. So how cold does it keep you? Konako
asked. Violet turned to the right & let out a soft breath that caused a three foot ice
crystal to form instantly in the air, which then slammed down onto the ground,
causing the room to shake slightly, & shattering into piece as it smashed onto the
floor.

That cold Violet answered. Konako stared in disbelief. Did she just freeze the air
with her breath? Konako asked, still dumbfounded by what had just occurred.
Shes done worse before. Ciarra admitted. She once froze all the air in Ralas
room, keeping him from entering. Heck, Rala had a hell of a time just getting the
door unstuck. Alice laughed.

Violet fidgeted awkwardly. Anyways, continuing with introductions, this is Lopp. She
was Rauk-Shaos girlfriend, before Alice trailed off as she & everyone else fell
silent. Whats the matter? What happened?! Konako asked. Maybe its best if I
tell her Willson intervened. TELL ME WHAT?! WHATS THE BIG DEAL?! Konako
shrieked.

Well a lot has happened since you were locked inside that armour There is not
an easy way to put this so Ill be blunt with you First off, while you were in that
armour, you turned Teller against the whole academy & Abra for that matter. You
tried to put everyone into an eternal slumber & then kill them while they slept. You
fought with Quince & the brain-washed Teller against Ripp, Rauk-Shao, & Abra,
which ultimately ended up killing Rauk-Shao, & then lastly, you tried to sentence
Ashley to death by putting her in an eternal irreversible slumber, which was when

Ripp finally managed to shred that armour you were in, & free you. Willson
admitted.

Konako stared with tears filling her eyes as she tried to absorb all that Willson had
just informed her of. Konako was on the verge of a breakdown & Willson knew it.
Keep in mind that you were only in the armour. You werent the one who was
controlling it. None of these things are your fault. Willson interjected, trying to
avoid her mental breakdown.

But it is If Id only just have ignored all that that big fat lier had said I I!
Konako stuttered. Would be dead. If you hadnt listened to him after he tried all
his options, you would become useless as a pawn & instead would have been
considered a threat, thus he wouldnt have hesitated to kill you. After all, he may
have Quince inside, but like with what happened to you, Quince has no control over
what that thing does. Willson replied adamantly.

Youre blaming yourself for things that were beyond your control, & not your fault.
You picked the best option you had, even if bad things happened because of them.
Dont feel discouraged, because no matter what you had picked, something back
would have happened regardless. When that is the case, its better to pick the
choice with the least severe consequences, which is what you did. Willson argued,
trying to cheer her up.

Konako stared at Lopp with so many tears in her eyes, that she couldnt see Lopp
clearly. Do you hate me for the death of your loved one? Konako asked as she
tried desperately to wipe the tears away. While I will never forgive Nightmare for
slaying Rauk-Shao Lopp admitted as she paused, which caused Konako to start
sobbing more.

Lopp used a wind current to blow the tears away. You are not Nightmare. So there
is nothing to hate you for. Lopp finished with a forgiving smile. Just then a voice
rang over the loud speaker. This is an important message to all academy members,
please gather in the assembly hall right away, thank you. Ralas voice announced
before the speakers went silent. The group helped Konako up & helped her get
dressed before they all departed together, anxious & excited to hear what the
special news was all about.
