I BELIEVE
Explain your artifact final product and ALL the steps you took to create it.
I took a long deep thought and something just jumped out at me. This has been a belief
of mine since I was a little girl. My God mother, who helped raise me, is a gay women. I
never seen anything wrong with, even as I got older.

What is the most important thing you learned during this process?
I learned a lot more about the LGBT community and all the harm they go through. I didnt
know how many have received death threats and have been beaten because of their
sexuality. I learned how hateful people can really be in this world.

Explain the significance of your artifact and how it connects to the narrative.
I have been in a relationship with my girlfriend for 2 years now and I have grown happily
in love with her. This is something very close to my heart because not only am I a
lesbian, but I also know very many LGBT people as well. So I had to share this as my
belief.

What do you wish you had spent more time on or done dierently?
I wish I could have interviewed people about this instead of doing research on it. It would
have been a more personal and touching experience if I had gone more into depth about
it.

What did you find most challenging during this task?

The thing I found most challenging about this task is actually finding a lot more evidence.
I wanted to find more stories on LGBT people and what they have gone through.
