The tenacity of the poster, is

to see the conjure of

romance, infused and
smothered by ferocity.
Hence, the division among
the two loved ones families.
Helps comprehend what the
type of genre of what the
film will be, as well as the
plot.
The key image of this
poster is the two main
characters who are a young
loved up couple. The love is
denoted by the two sharing
a fervent kiss. They are
positioned directly in the
bottom centre of the
poster, to increase the
importance of their
character in the film itself.
However there are two
other images surrounding
this main image. However
with the little image of the
heart in the centre right
above the young couple,
connotes that nothing can
distinct them, and that
they are deeply in love with
one another, and not even
the division of the families
can separate this.

The tagline says My only love sprung by

my only hate". The image helps the tagline,
as the viewers can see the abhorrence
between the two families in the
circumstantial. In contrast, the hatred, has
evolved love between the young male and
female protagonists in spite of everything
else that is happening. This emphasises the
genre, of romance, and the strong bond that
they have, as it seems to be a very
authoritative statement.

The title of the main film is

big, bold and white. This
sets a big contrast between
the rest of the colours used
in the film poster. This
allows the audience to
make it easier to read, what
the real title of the film is.
The colour of the tagline on
the poster is in black, with
yellow highlighting around
the edges underneath the
image of the bright heart.
The billing block is in
orange on the bottom of the
film poster, so it doesn't
stand out, to not distract
the main focus of the
poster, but are only used for
copyright/ film purposes. On
the other hand the release
date is in white and is bold
next to the billing block,
which allows it to stand out
for the viewers.

The colours used in this

poster makes the poster
look more chaotic. As
you can, towards the top
of the poster, the
colours used are
purple/grey. These
colours, are highlighted
only on the edges of the
images of other
characters in the film.
This can show the
hatred and anger that
the characters have
towards one another,
and how they clash.
Furthermore, there are
patches of white/ yellow.
This creates the effect of
a heaven feel. This
connotes, that the
young loved up couple
are entirely in love and
supposedly 'out of this
world'.
