Homework 2 Unit 34
1) Briefly describe the different purposes for noncommercial websites.
I am going to describe the different purposes for a noncommercial website which is The Green Party. The
Green Party is an environmentalist political party. The
political party was formed in 1985. Below is the print
screen of their history.

This is a website that provides information but dont sell

anything. The Green Party provide information because they
show who their politicians are and what their roles are. The
website also includes their party history but the main thing is
who is
involved in
the party.

The Green Party also have a manifesto where they have a
public declaration of their policy and aims. The Green Party
manifesto is to vote Green and you can help us build a society
that works for the Common Good.

The Green Party do try to influence public opinion because they

are trying to become better than the other political parties
where they want to take back their health service which they
include the NHS. By helping the NHS, The Green Party want to
fight for a publicly funded, publicly provided health service free
at the point of use and make mental health a much higher
priority with resources to match this status. They want our
opinion by getting involved with #PublicNHS so they get to
know what our opinion are and how we help them improve.
The Green Party collect data where they ask people to join and
sign up to their website to donate and do voluntary activities.
Below is a print screen of their data. By signing up they want us
to helpin your local community by delivering a few leaflets or
chatting with voters on the doorstep will make a real difference
to getting more Greens elected.

Operational purposes e.g. licence applications and tax return

submissions via gov.uk: The Green Party do not have any
licence applications and tax return submissions because they
only provide information about their politicians and their

members. Furthermore, they also have a sign up where we can
donate and help win their elections.

I am going to describe the different purposes for a noncommercial website which is for a charity Acorns.
Established in 1988, Acorns Childrens Hospice Trust is a
registered charity offering a network of care for life
limited and life threatened babies, children and young
people and their families, across the heart of England.
Acorns Childrens Hospice does have a website that provides
information but dont sell anything. The Acorns Children
Hospice provides information because they show children that
need help and donations so they become better. The website
also includes their history but the main thing is that the
children get recovered. Acorns hospice wants us to donate
goods so they invest in the treatments.

the shop online on their website.

sign up to their website to donate. Below is a print screen of
their data. By signing up they want us to donate money and
gifts. This makes us feel sad. They want our help and this
persuades us to donate. Acorns hospice will collect data by the
money we are donating. This has an emotional expression to
help them.

Acorns hospice collects data where we can volunteer and join

social media to contact them.
Acorns Hospice does not do operational purposes such as tax
return submissions because they only provide information
about their charity. Furthermore, they also have a sign up
where we can donate and help provide money to make the
children health better.
