SIFASafeInternetforallSummary

"SafeInternetforall"(SIFA)isatwoyearErasmus+projectrunning20142016.
Erasmus+isanEUprogrammepromotinginternationalcooperation,exchangeand
mobilitieswithinthefieldsofeducation,training,youthandsportsfortheperiod
20142020.
Theprojects mainaimisto increasetheawarenessandknowledgeabouttherisksand
possible consequences in connection with the use ofinternet aswell as tohelppupils
andteacherstohandlesuchnegativeconsequences.
All project activities are carried out promoting safeand ethic use of theInternet. Each
school isdeveloping guidelines forsafeInternetuse,inordertopreventnegativehealth
consequences of using the Internet as well as to teach pupils digital skills such as
criticismofthesource,copyrightetc.
The SIFA project is a cooperation between school partners from Greece, Austria,
Poland, Norway and Swedenwhereeachcountryhostsaninternationalprojectmeeting
on a different theme relatedto Internet use,i.e. Addiction, Health, Security, Ethicsand
Safety.
So far there have been aplanning meeting inGreece,four project meetings inAustria
(Addiction), Norway (Health), Sweden (Internet Security) and Greece (Ethics), as well
asanevaluationmeetinginPoland.
Online questionnaires are distributed before each meeting as well as follow up
evaluations after each project meeting. The questionnaires are analyzed statistically
andtheresultsofeachmeetingarepresentedanddisseminatedonalocallevelineach
school and to neighbouring schools to pupils of different age groups and on a
national and international level to each countrys NA National Agency andthrough
