Armed Robberies
24th District (Rogers Park)
About the Crime:
Recent Armed Robberies have occurred on the public way in the 024th District during
which one offender, who is armed with a black handgun, approaches the victim from
behind and points the gun at the victim's head while demanding that the victims
give him everything they have. The offender took a purse, cell phones, and U.S.C.
Incident times and locations are listed below:

6900 block of N. Washtenaw Ave. on 12 January 2016 at 4:05 p.m.

6600 block of N. Maplewood Ave. on 13 January 2016 at 8:10 p.m.

7000 block of N. Washtenaw Ave. on 16 January 2016 at 8:52 a.m.

About the Offender(s):

In the separate incidents the offender(s) are described as:
Male, Black, 38, 6'00", wearing a black jacket, black jeans, and yellow gym shoes.
Male, Black, 20-30, 5'07", 200 lbs., light complexion, wearing eyeglasses, and a
black jacket.
Male, Black, 6'01", wearing black frame eyeglasses, red knit ski cap, light gray
sweatpants.

Report any suspicious people or activity in the area.
Pay attention and be aware of your surroundings.
Be aware of any subjects loitering in the area.
If confronted by an assailant, remain calm and remember any unique
