To Whom It May Concern:

It is with great pleasure that I write a letter of recommendation on
behalf of Britney Block as she applies for an elementary teaching
position in your district. I had the privilege of working with Britney
while I was acting as the building administrator following the passing of
the building principal. Britney was a long-term reserve for a second
grade teacher. Britney went out of her way to make me feel welcome
in the school during this difficult time.
Britney has a vibrant personality. I loved having the opportunity to
discuss the work she was doing with her students because of the
energy and enthusiasm she would demonstrate when talking about
students and teaching. Britney is a creative person who strives to find
different strategies to meet the needs of all of her students. She cares
for the students in her classroom and her warmth helps her in building
a strong sense of rapport.
Following my role as Dean of Students, with Britney working as the
long term reserve, I went on to become the Summer School Principal
for the Wayzata School District and was able to hire Britney to teach a
class of rising first graders. I was thrilled to be able to hire Britney
because I was confident of the work she would do with students after
my observations of her as a long-term reserve teacher. Again, I was
impressed with the extra efforts Britney made to ensure success from
all of the students assigned to her classroom.
I believe that Britney possess the qualities and skills needed to be an
outstanding elementary teacher. She has enough experience to work
independently with confidence and also has the skills to collaborate
effectively with a team of teachers. Britney would be an asset to your
school. She has my personal and professional recommendation. If I can
enhance Britneys candidacy further, please do not hesitate to call.
Sincerely,
Sara R. Gammack
