My origins are pretty amazing if you ask me. I grew up with two amazing and supportive
parents. As supportive as they are they did not have the same growing up. My father Ed Arevalo
was born into a very broken and poor family, same as my mother Andrea Arevalo. His mother
(My grandmother), Linda Hernandez, did her best to raise my dad along with 3 other siblings in
a small apartment. My dad worked hard in school and worked a job to help support his family
financially. At 17 years of age he had enlisted into the United States Marine Corps and after 4
years became a police officer. My mother grew up lower than middle class with 3 siblings. While
my dad was the youngest in his family my mother was the oldest in hers. Her parents divorced
which made things very difficult for the family. She had to start playing the role as the mother
and father when her Mother (My grandma), Alma Correa, was at work. My mother would end up
helping her 2 sisters and one brother with everything. She worked hard to attain her dream which
was to become a police officer. She married my father and later gave birth to my sister Annie,
two years later I came along. My parents had hard lives and made it out. That is why I am always
grateful for what I have. They taught me to never give up and to fight for my dreams. I carried
those values into wrestling when I found it to be my passion. Every day, I work to be the best I
can be in wrestling. My goal is to make state and thats exactly what I constantly work for. I
always want to be the best in anything I do. Thats because my origins were to never settle for

average. In my family, you cant give up. Always push yourself and strive for greatness. Those
are my origins and thats exactly why I am the person I am today.
