AROUND THE
THOUSAND
ISLANDS

Lawrence

Ontario becomes in

miles, so wide and so
full of islands that it
was called the lake of
1000 islands. As a
vacation paradise it
is world renowned.
The river, 115 miles
at its source,
gradually narrows to

five miles in width,

and the islands vary
in size from mere
points of rocks to
those several square
miles in area.

island is a lovely way
to experience the
area and
range from 1 hours
to 3 hours in length.
