Locals from Prince Edward
country, just south of
Belleville, often refer to
their area as The
Country. If you like
cycling, consider a bike
trip there this summer.
The country side is
picturesque, with quite
roads winding through

SUMMER

Cruising around the

thousandit was called
the lake of the 1000
islands. As a vacation
paradise it is world
renowned. The river, 15
miles at its source,
gradually narrows to five
miles in width and the
islands vary in size from
mere points of rock to
those of several square
miles in area .
A cruise around the
islands is lovely way to
experience the area and
range from1 hours to 3
hours in length. Cruises
leave Kingston several
times throughout the day
during the summer.
