DELHI STATE LEGAL SERVICES AUTHORITY (Constituted Under the ‘Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987’, an Act of Parliament) Under the Administrative Control of High Court of Delhi Central Office, Patiala House Courts Complex, New Delhi - 110003, Ph, : 23880781, Fax : 23387267, Email: dslsa-phc@ni Ref.No.48/ DSLSA/LLW/Training Programme /15/6)Uq - GIT4 Dated:.20.07.2015 NOTICE MEDIATION TRAINING PROGRAMME Delhi State Legal Services Authority, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi under the directions of Hon'ble Executive Chairman, Delhi State Legal Services Authority and as per approval accorded by the Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee (MCPC) proposes to conduct a 40-Hrs Certificate Course cum Training Programme on the “Concept and Techniques of Mediation” for Advocates for the purpose of Mediation and Counselling in Company Laws, Banking Laws, Consumer Laws, Revenue Laws, IPR Laws in the month of August 2015. Earlier this Authority invited applications for conducting such programme vide Public Notice dated 08.05.2015, but only 7 candidates could be short-listed as per eligibility criteria, whereas, the minimum number of 15 to 20 Advocates are required to organize 40 Hours Mediation Training Programme as per the Training Module devised by the MCPC, Supreme Court of India. Hence, the said programme scheduled to be organized w.e.f. 2 June, 2015 was postponed. Now, this Authority is again inviting applications from the interested candidates/advocates for the 40 Hours Mediation Training Programme. As per Criteria laid down by Mediation Monitoring Committee, Hon'ble High Court of Delhi, the following conditions should be fulfilled for igibility of an Advocate for consideration in the Training Programme :- pans yO ws art Page 1 0f4 a 1. The Applicant/Advocate should have minimum 10 Years of experience as prescribed under Rule 4(b) of Mediation & Conciliation Rules, 2004. 2, The net declared professional income of the Advocate should be more than 3 Lacs per annum in the Financial Year 2013- 2014 & Assessment year 2014-2015. 3, The net declared professional income of the Female Advocate should be between Rs.1.5 Lacs to Rs. 3 Lacs per annum in the in the Financial Year 2013- 2014 & Assessment year 2014-2015. 4. Special Consideration will be given to the Women Advocates for Mediation Training. 5, Preference shall be accorded to the advocate who have been practising in the aforementioned streams of Law. 6. The Applicants/Advocates who had already applied earlier in terms of Public notice dated 08,05.2015 need not apply. 7. The Applicants/Advocates who have been shortlisted too need not apply afresh. The Advocates for the abovesaid training are also required to pay Rs. 3000/- towards part of the cost and expenses for the training by way of Pay order/DD in favour of Member Secretary, Delhi State Legal Services ‘Authority (DSLSA) Central office, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi. The said pay order/DD shall be encashed only, if the applicant is selected for Mediation Training and Pay order/DD of other candidates who will not be selected for training shall be returned back to them.
