Haley Williams took her placement at Rawson seriously. She was professional and respectful
in her interactions with students and staff Haley was at school on designated days and.

lesson with an in detail lesson plan which she would send to me in advance to look over and
suggest any changes. She would also bring anchor charts and posters to help with her

Haley got to know the students in the lass quickly. She worked with students one on one and
in small groups before she started teaching the whole group lessons. Haley always spoke to
the students ina postive, respectful way. The students always looked forward to Ms.
Williams coming to class Haley knew what students to keep her eye on and redirect, oF
‘move when needed. Idd fee! that Haley did very well interacting with small groups and due
to videotaping parts of her teaching (small group questioning) she wasn't able to always

Haley was able to interact with different staff members and office staff during her time at
Rawson, She was professional in her contact and I feel that my peers were impressed with
her professional manner. Ms. Williams had preat interactions with students in her lessons and
in one on one discussions. She did do some remedial work with some students as well as

Haley and { would discuss the lessons to be taught the next week and decide if we needed 10
{ake copies ofthe manual to Took atin preparing her lesson plans. Haley would email me her
plans in advance of her lessons so that I could check over them and make suggestions if
needed. When she would come in onthe day ofthe lesson she would gather any other
‘materials so that she was ready for the lesson being taught. Ms. Williams was very goodl at
boeing prepared with extra posters and anchor charts that she would ereate to aid the ebildren
in their understanding and/or directions,

Ms. Williams communicated through speaking, writing and listening modes. She would give
verbal directions, model it onthe board and would repeat or have another child repeat the
directions. Haley was able to work with the class to have them better attending to her lessons
and directions by moving students closer to her, heving kids sitting on the oor or at their
desks, and quietly redirecting kids within her proximity.
