I think that their are a total of 480 lockers in the school. 180 white lockers and 300 blue lockers. A ratio is a comparison of two numbers. Similar to a RATE. I used multiplication and division to solve this ratio problem.

300 blue lockers. Evidence; I think that their are 480 lockers total because a RATIO is a comparison of two numbers. Similar to a RATE which is a comparison of two numbers of different units. Anyways, if you look at this problem, it is 3 (white) to 5 (blue) And their are 180 white lockers. That means for every 3 white lockers there are 5 blue lockers and so I divided 180 by 3 and found 60 so once I found 60 I just multiplied 60 by 5 and got 300 then I just added 180 and 300 in my head which got me 480 lockers total. This is still a regular ratio howerever this ratio is not PROPORTIONAL which is when two ratios are equal. Reasoning; This evidence is valid because it proves how I got the answer of 480 lockers total. I used multiplication and division to solve this ratio. Conclusion; I enjoyed doing this it was kind of like a huge brain teaser and I hope to do one
again and I hope you enjoyed this ratio
problem too! Evaluation; I think I would deserve a 21.5 because I am extremely about my claim and reasoning and especially my evidence.
