DefineApprovalLevelsforAppropriationRequests
Inthisstep,youdefinetheapprovallevelsperappropriationrequesttype.Theseapprovallevelsare
usedintheapprovalprocessforappropriationrequests.Youcandefineanynumberofapprovallevels.
Thenumericalkeyoftheapprovalleveldeterminesitsplaceinthesequenceoftheapprovallevels.The
systemgoesthroughtheapprovallevelssequentiallybasedontheirkey,startingfromthelowest
numbersandincreasingupward.Thesysteminitiatesthefirstapprovallevel(thathasthelowestnumber
key)aftertheappropriationrequestreceivesthe"tobeapproved"status.Afterthelastapprovallevelis
completed,thesystemsetsthestatusto"approved."
Inaddition,youhavetoassignapartnerfunctiontoeachapprovallevel.Thepartnerfunctionis
responsibleforapprovalatthatlevel.Youdefinethepartnerfunctionsinthepartnerdetermination
procedureoftheappropriationrequesttype.Youcanspecifytheactualuserswhofulfillthesepartner
functionsintheappropriationrequests.Theusersdefinedasfulfillingthepartnerfunctionreceivethe
appropriationrequestsassignedtotheirapprovallevel.Theyrecievetheappropriationrequestsas
workflowworkitemsintheirofficeinbox.Theycanapproveorrejecttheappropriationrequeststhere.
