Dear Parents,

I am excited to announce that Sam Houston High School will be having a field trip to the Fire
Station during the Fire Prevention Week on February 22, 2016. This field trip would be held as
an educational activity to inform the students about different ways to prevent fires, and the
possible consequences of a fire.
Also, we are excited to ask at least 5 parents to volunteer to go with your childs class. This
would be of great help for the faculty, and we would like that you as a parent get to enjoy the
field trip as well. If you are interested in volunteer, make sure to fill in the note at the bottom of
this sheet, and give it to you daughter/son to turn it in to the teacher. Also, make sure to have a
criminal background check, and be an approved volunteer with AISD.
