Dear parent,

As an expectation in my classroom, every student is expected to follow the class rules. One of
them is that every student has to do their homework, and turn it in when it is due.
You are receiving this note because your student did not follow this rule. Your daughter, Laila,
has received Algebra homework just as any student in my class, but she has not turned in any
work. This has been going on for a couple of days already, and I am concerned about your
daughter.
Please make sure your daughter completes her work, and she has it turn in as soon as
possible.
