    nationandyetitisoneofthemostviolentplacesinthenation.IhadafriendintheArmywhenI
    wasinBasicCombatTrainingwecalledhimAnderson,thatwashislastname.Hewasraisedin
    ChicagoandhealwayscalledChicagoChiraqbecauseitissoviolentthere.Thatwasthefirst
    timeIheardthatreferenceandtoomeitwaskindofhumorousbecauseIknewtheyhadvery
    strictgunlawsandthatitwasaviolentplace.Tohimitwasjustaneverydayoccurrencehe
    wouldhearorseeonthenewsaboutsomeoneshootingupaChicagoTransitAuthoritytrainor
    someonebeingmurdered.Tomeitsoundedlikepurechaos,becauseIgrewupinasmall
    farmingtowninIdahowheretherewasreallynogunviolence,theonlythingyouwouldhear
    aboutissomeonegettingintoacarwreckinanothertownorsomeonesgreatunclehadaheart
    attack.Everyoneinmyhometownownedandcarriedhuntingriflesandhandgunsinfact,I
    alwayshadasmallcaliberrifleinmypickupincaseIsawavoleorarockchuckinmyDad's
    hayfield.SotomeIlookatthetwosituations,strictgunlawsmoreviolence,orhardlyanygun
    lawsandpeaceandtranquility.
