To Whom It May Concern:

Please accept this letter of recommendation for Sarah Camp. I have had the distinct
pleasure of instructing and supervising Sarah during her senior year teaching residency in
the Scottsdale School District. I have supervised Sarah in my role as the iTeachAZ
Coordinator; she has had student teaching experience in both a k-3 SUCCESS (Emotionally
Disturbed) and a kindergarten setting. In regularly observing Sarahs teaching
performance, I found her to be invested and tuned into students while still holding their
classroom performance to high standards. Her commitment to the early childhood
profession and to young children as well as to exemplary classroom instruction made her
especially effective during student teaching. Her actions as a team member and colleague
were evidence that she is collegial, shares resources willingly and finds her own success in
the success of others.
As her course instructor in the teacher preparation program, I had her as a student
in two student teaching courses and a math methods course, each with varying levels of
intellectual demand. Sarah applied herself to her coursework and demonstrated a strong
commitment to completing academic tasks assigned to her with an excellent degree of
quality. She is able to complete complex assignments in a timely manner and has
demonstrated that she is a self-starter with strong initiative. Sarah is well prepared and
well equipped to meet the rigors of teaching and has demonstrated that she thinks on a
large scale about the child as a whole as well as at the fine grained level of learning
outcomes.
Sarah will be an asset to any organization. I can recommend Ms. Camp without
hesitation. Please do not hesitate to contact me if further information is needed.
Sincerely,
