YOUTH INITIATIVES
This youth group
represents a lot of
young people in
Derry. I believe that
by doing this social
action, this will
remove the
stereotypes that
are linked with the
youth today.

YOUTH INITIATIVES

Youth initiatives is an
organisation for young
people.

They are based in

Galliagh and are a
charity organisation.

They reach out to help

young people in their
community.

They organise events

and trips for the
members to do.

They are open from 9am

to 11pm.

YOUTH INITIATIVES
They have participated in many
events such as the Belfast
Marathon 2014, and the play REACTION, which was a thought
provoking performance by the
members of the community.
They have set up work opportunities
for young people. There was an
event held in the University of
Ulster in November 2014 to build
connections across the sector.
They occasionally do an outreach to
the communities in Derry and
Belfast to promote their
organisation and inspirational
workshops.

YOUTH INITIATIVES
They have many centers throughout Northern Ireland but well
just be focusing on the center in Galliagh
Since they are a charity they only have donations, so by doing
this project it will help promote there cause and help spread
the word.
