HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATION

RULE 1- Only authorized and qualified

personnel shall be allowed to operate
heavy equipment authorized
personnel shall be a holder of land
transportation office drivers license.
RULE 2- Only duly qualified and
authorized persons shall be permitted
to assist, operate and maintain any
machine or equipment. Equipment
operates shall be made responsible for
the protection of men and equipment
within their scope of jurisdiction.

RULE 3- When trackless equipment are

used in underground mining, the
manager shall ensure that employees:
a. Wear an outer vest or webbing
harness with reflective material
on their chest and back; or
b. Have panels or stripes of
reflective material securely
fastened to the clothing on their
chest and back.
RULE 4- All vehicles in a mine so far as
is practicable shall be fitted with
