Introduction

Global warming is
when the earth heats up
(the temperature rises).
It happens when greenhouse
gases (carbon dioxide, water vapour, nitrous oxide,
and methane) trap heat and light from the sun in
the earths atmosphere, which increases the
temperature. This hurts many people, animals, and
plants. Many cannot take the change, so they die.

Causes
Global Warming is caused by many things.
The causes are split up into two categories,
man-made or anthropogenic causes, and
natural causes.

Causes
Man-made

Natural

Man-made Causes :
Pollution is one of the biggest man-made
cause.
When fossil fuels are burnt they give off green
house gasses like CO2 and Methane. Also
incomplete combustion releases CO.
Another problem with the increasing
population is transportation.
Deforestation on a large scale increases CO2
CFCs and HCFCs used in refrigeration are
also powerful greenhouse gases.

Man-made Causes :

Natural Causes :
Natural causes are created by nature.
One of them is release of methane gas
from arctic tundra and wetlands.
Another natural cause is that the earth
goes through a cyclic climatic change
every after 40,000 years.
Another natural cause is forest fire
One more natural cause is volcanic
eruption.

Natural Causes :

Effects
The effects or impacts, of Global Warming may be
physical, ecological, social or economic.
Climate changes
Extreme weather (either too hot or too cold)
Glacier retreat and disappearance
Acidification
Oxygen depletion
Sea level rise
Ocean temperature rise
Food scarcity
Spread of Diseases
Depletion of water resources
Migration and conflict
