an excerpt from the exchanges between mr i b p and mlle r p

there is a viciousness with the way i lovingly sew her arm back to fit into its socket. i tell
you it isnt easy to carefully plot out the points a and b and c and d to loop the thread
and puncture with the needle her eyes made of buttons reflective in the lamplight. oh,
how lovingly the doll i put together, the marionette, i fasten her with strings that she
dances to every tune and tone and melody and progress the piano with my deft
manipulating fingers pressonto her loving limbs i test where i want the stuffing to go:
not too much la tte she needs not over think; not too much on her feeding trunk we
need it to stay soft and yielding to our touch; we need it on her limbs for her to dance
and twirl and plan her feet and lift with her arms my love, my vicious love.
