The Memories of the Greatest Dog

My dog was the best thing that ever happened to me; I had her ever since I was little. I remember
when I threw her down the stairs by accident because I thought she could fly (This happened when I was
little.) I remember when it was hard for me she would cuddle up beside me and lick my cheeks. Then
whenever she finished eating and the family was eating she’d sit besides one of use and start to beg.
She’d jump up and look at you with her big brown eyes, and if you’d ignored her Daisy would start
growling. She had a good life with us, she got Puerto Rican food, Chinese food and fancy doggy treats.
Watching her sleep was cute, she’d snore all the time because of her small nose but if you catch her in a
deep sleep she would have her tongue hanging out of her mouth a little.

Even if she was suffering I wish I didn’t watch them put her to sleep, she stumbled around a little
and then she just laid on the towel with her tongue sticking out of her mouth, she was snoring just a little
bit. She was peaceful and I know we did the right thing. I couldn’t handle being in the same room when
they gave her the medicine to put her to sleep. I said my goodbyes and told her I loved her even on
Wednesday night I confessed to her and I said I’m sorry to her for not being a good owner.

I just when she is in doggy heaven she’ll be young again and she will be happy jumping around
and eating the foods she wants. I loved her so much; I just hope she thinks about her family when she is
up there because she will always be in our hearts and in memories.

Rest in Peace Daisy Maldonado, your family will love you no matter what.
