Conclusion
Bacterial Cellulose Film has proven its superiority in saving material resources, due to
fewer dressing changes, in addition to other findings such as decrease in pain, less
human resources needed, and the healing of the ulcer. The hypothetic comparison to
hydrocolloid supposes that both treatments would take the same amount of time to
promote cicatrisation, but it could take much more time or could not occur at all.
