Announcements

Show & Tell - Please bring in 1 item that begins with one of the sounds we have covered
so far this year. Dont forget your 3 clues.

Baggy Books Baggy Books started last week. Please read one book with your child
each night. New Baggy Books will come home on Mondays. They should be returned
every Friday along with the other homework.

Please see the attached letter about Valentine Cards.

Remember that allowing your child to write the sounds he/she hears in a word will
help him/her become a better reader, writer, and student. Some students do shut
down. If your child does this sound out the word for him/her slowly and allow him/her to
write the letters that make the sounds he/she hear. We eventually want each child to
sound out and write the words on his/her own! Thank you for helping your child learn at
home!
