What is it? Essentially, it means stopping your own work or the work of others if you have doubts about the safety of the operation or the effects it may have on assets, environment or company reputation as well as the quality of the final delivered service. Most of the time you can solve the problem very quickly, and informally — just by discussing it! > Who Can Stop Work? Anyone! You don't have to be an expert in the issue, or be involved in the work in question. You don't even have to be an employee of the company doing the work. All employees, contractors and visitors to Petrom Sites have the right, responsibility and authority to stop work. >How Do! Stop Work? Ifyou don't think tha: the ongoing work is safe, just stop it, and raise your concerns....to the people involved first, to your superior, or the HSEQ representative next. There is always @ way, and it may save someone's health, prevent injury or even save their life! To be “Accountable” is to be responsible for the results of your actions in Petrom EP and EPS. It applies to each of us individually and to the company that has the responsibility to establish systems and processes to promote an ‘accountable’ culture. For example; each employee is personally accountable for working safely and ensuring the expected quality of the job we perform meets the requirements of the Company. Part of this means each of us is responsible for intervening to prevent Quality and HSE non-conformances The guideli e for consequence decision paths is detailed in Annex B. This workflow guideline will help managers make more consistent and fair decisions. Many non-conformance incidents are due to lack of knowledge while others may be due to wrong attitude: different situations need to be handled differently and the workflow guidelines will help management to deal with this. The workflow guidelines for progressive disciplinary actions do not replace local regulations. They are designed to be complementary and guide managers through whet are often tough decisions. 3. Responsibilities EP/EPS Top Management ‘¢ Implementation and continual improvement of systems, standards and processes that sustain HSEQ; * Provide training end guideline for implementation of standards and processes; * To sustain the employee's authority to stop any activity that has imminent danger.
