The scheme has following scholarships: (@) PhD research travel grants scholarship to Scotland. Thé Pakistan Scottish Scholarship Scheme for Women in high@r education was initiated by the Scottish Government with British Council as an implementing partner in response to the identified need of young women in the country who are Geprived of the resources and opportunities to pursue and continue their education. ‘The Scottish Government in collaboration with British Council is providing PhD research travel ‘ants for women to conduct their research or dissertation in a Scottish University and is delighted to be supporting these grants which will help women in Pakistan achieve their potential and ambitions, aiding them to build a secure future for themselves and their families. ‘The grants aim to facilitate female PhD students enrolled in Pakistani Universities carry out research in Scotland.
