From the deepest of the oceans emanates a scream

Two and one - the world is enveloped with the darkest of shadows

Something so distressing even the heavens cant beam

All these havens we used to called home is where smoke billows

Listen carefully the whispers of the wind swirls

And with it comes a good chunk of deteriorating humanity, zero visibility

The warning ensues but we cant do nothing but to curl

The perfect picture fades to grey as I see nothing but pity

Ten, nine, eight the sound of chainsaws growl

Echoes of zero I cower with fear as witness all of this

Trees fall as the herds of animals flee with a sense of scowl

Such fright I see with the decaying carcasses and burnt-down trees

Where are they to hide now that there shelters gone?

What we have become are all killers and doom bringers

Bit by bit we seem them disappear, null and overrun

When what we are supposed to be are natures house-keepers

Seven, six, five a loud shotgun resonates in the woods

Living in the shadows of doubt and fear wont be easy as salvage

We took too far searching, even depleting the sources of crude

What do we have to live upon? Rubbles of wreckage?

Dear, you missed your target by a point-blank range

The universe has millions and billions of years left to stay

You see, you were too busy looking for a seamless cage

But our world has quickly left to everyones dismay

Four and three - I could feel the eminent heat rising

Think and realize - this earth was a perfect canvass

Long. dry summer days and hasty winters and spring

Now grasp the ignorant mistakes that were unfaithful and crass

I see people complaining to the two-faces of nature

Not much time is left to turn a 180-degree turn

Experience that in hindsight, thats what you have to endure

But not until we do something, the earth will continue to burn
