You are on page 1of 3

One of the goals of our intervention block is to challenge you academically.

To do this you
will work independently or in a small group and create an enrichment project. In this
project you will have significant freedom to decide what you are going to learn, how you
are going to learn it and how you will demonstrate your learning. We expect the learning to be meaningful, creative and
challenging. For example, a student who is interested in space travel might create a presentation that chronicles the
evolution of space travel. Two students who are interested in drama might create a skit and perform it for their
classmates. You have a lot of freedom to direct your own learning with this project, we strongly encourage you to have
fun with it, work hard and be creative! Before you can begin your enrichment project you must create a proposal that
explains what your project is about and how you intend to make it a reality. You will use the Enrichment Project
Proposal Outline to help you with your preparation. Please note all projects must be approved by Mrs. King or Mrs.
Bailey before you start. Good luck and have fun!
