ABSTRACT

Latex is a stable dispersion (emulsion) of polymer micro particles in an aqueous

medium. Natural rubber, also called India rubber as initially produced, consists of polymers of the
organic compound isoprene, with minor impurities of other organic compounds plus water. Natural
rubber is used by many manufacturing companies for the production of rubber products. Natural
rubber is used extensively in many applications and products, either alone or in combination with
other materials. In most of its useful forms, it has a large stretch ratio and high resilience, and is
extremely waterproof.
Autorubmator is a sequence of machines that reduce manpower requirements, which is
used to produce natural rubber from latex. Quality of natural rubber mainly depends upon 3 factors
1. Concentration of acid
2. Concentration of water
3. Concentration of impurity.
Normally the production of natural rubber includes three steps
1. Collection of latex &mixing of latex with water and acid.
2. Transfer of mixed latex into coagulation tanks for the preparation of dry rubber.
3. Size reduction and cleaning.
If the concentration of these acid, water and latex is not in a proper concentration
it greatly affect the grade of rubber .Correction of the concentration of acid, water and latex is the
main aim of our project. These processes are time consuming and need manual power. Autorubmator
is a sequence machine that avoid manual power and provide high grade rubber. It is cost effective,
simple and easy to handle machine, It is very useful for farmers.
