RUNNER

SCENE 1

FADE IN:
INT. BEDROOM DAY
A Hacker is copying data onto a memory stick using the
computer. Once it is done they take it out of the computer and
passes it to the Runner dressed in a hoodie and jeans and
wearing a backpack.
HACKER
(seriously)
You know what you need to do

EXT. ROAD SIDE DAY

The Runner stands patiently waiting to cross the road, heading
towards Chesterfield Town Centre, checking both sides.

EXT. BHS DAY

In the Heart of Chesterfield Town Centre, Two male teenagers
dressed in black, one on the phone. As he hangs up he nods to
the other, becoming aware of the public around them.

EXT. BHS LEFT SIDE ALLEY DAY

A Teenager (Runner) crosses the road and begins running up the
alley and through the arch. They sprint in-between the two
government teenagers and knock them off balance.

EXT. BHS RIGHT PASSAGE TO CAR PARK DAY

The teenagers start their chase on the Runner down into the
car park passage of BHS and head into the car park entrance.
At this point they split up. The Runner and one Government
teenager heads up the stairs while the other teenager takes
the lift.

INT. CAR PARK STAIRWELL DAY

The Runner and Teenager race up the stairs but the Government
teenager begins to lag behind.

INT. CAR PARK LIFT - DAY

The Teenager stands, appearing agitated, waiting for the lift
to come to a stop.

INT. CAR PARK DAY

The Runner exits the stairwell and runs up the ramps towards
the roof before the other two teenagers exit the lift and
stairwell. As the two exit they scan the car park looking for
signs of the runner. They see his feet running across the
level above and proceed up the ramps after him.

EXT. CAR PARK ROOF - DAY

As the two Teenagers reach the top they see the Runner across
the other side, stood facing them and holding the wanted
memory stick. As they begin to slowly head over the stairwell
door near the runner slams open and two more Runners come out
standing behind the original.

EXTREME CLOSE UP:

The Original Runners hand clutched tightly to the memory
stick.
FADE OUT.
