The AT&T donation will help continue the Women in STEM program for the 2016-17 school year. The program aims to address the shortage of women in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) in the Fox Valley. The focus of the program is to attract and retain women in STEM fields by targeting the barriers women often face and providing strong relationships with faculty members, opportunities to do real science as freshmen students, and financial support.
