G-Pack Enterprises is a fast growing, locally owned manufacturer and

distributor of packaging solutions located in Nova Scotia, Canada. The

company has grown from 2 employees in a 500 sq. ft. warehouse to over 50
employees in 39,000+ sq. ft. of state-of-the-art warehouse spaces. In spring
of 2014, G-Pack Enterprises is opening a sales office and warehouse in
Ontario.

Your Role:

Participate in the provision of effective strategic, financial and human

resources planning and information.
Provide accounting functions in order to ensure finances are managed
according to legislation, policies, and procedures and generally
accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Manage and coordinate human resources and administrative functions
including personnel administration and payroll.
Provide leadership and direction to Finance and Administration staff to
ensure efficient use of human resources.
Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

A professional accounting designation such as CA, CGA, CMA.

Several years of related financial experience, with minimal 2 years in a
senior role.
Successful passing of a criminal background and credit check.
Must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:
o Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
o Computerized accounting programs
o Preparation of financial statements and reports
o Administration of employee benefits
o Office administration
o Understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures

Physical Demands include long periods of time spent sitting, using

office equipment and computers, and intense concentration.
