Why do you think this is the case?

This composition of reflection is always equivalent to a translation of up 12. I think this is the
case because if you take the original triangle, and count the numbers between one point to
another on the triangle, then you will get 12 points.
2. How do you think that would change if:
a. The lines were closer/further apart?
If the lines were closer or further apart, the translation would be more or less than 12.
b. The lines were not parallel?
If the lines were not parallel, the translation would move to the left or the right, not just up or
down.
