Admissions Requirements
Graduates from six or seven semester long bachelor programs in
the following fields can apply for the Masters program
Automation & IT:
Electrical Engineering
Computer Science
Engineering Science
Related disciplines
A degree Dipl.-Ing. (FH) is sufficient for application to the
Automation & IT program as well.
In addition, a minimum grade point average has to be met. The
limit is 2.5 in a grade system from 1 to 5.
Please, be aware that these are only necessary but not sufficient
conditions. We have many applications for a limited number of
places. Therefore, not all applicants can get a place in our
program. We suggest that you should send application
documents to other universities, too.
The master program requires a minimum TOEFL score for
admission:
550 for the Paper-Based Test (PBT),
213 for the Computer-Based Test (CBT), and
80 for the Internet-Based Test (IBT).
Alternative tests, such as IELTS, TOEIC or VEC, are considered
as equivalent. The required IELTS grade is 6.0.
