Computer Laboratory Policies and Guidelines

1. Notify Academic Assistant of the desired computer laboratory to be reserved at least a week in
advance either through email to asistenteacademico@ccnn.org.ni or through a format that is in
the assistant academic office space.
2. The use of the Laboratory is once per week.
3. The use of the Laboratory is for 1 hour.
4. Request of headsets if you are going to use them.
5. You are on duty of taking care of the laborotary: PCs, Headsets, Screen, Mouse, Keyboard, etc.
6. CCNN will not be held liable for the loss or damage of any personal property of laboratory
users.
7. DO NOT ENTER with any kind of food, drinks to the laboratory.
8. DO NOT MOVE the equipment from its place or position.
9. IF any equipment is having trouble, notify to the person in charge of the Laboratory.
10. Only one student should occupy one computer terminal.
11. In case of group work, the laboratory assistant may allow a maximum of two students to occupy
a single terminal.
12. NO ONE is allowed to alter the setting configuration of any computer laboratory facility without
proper authorization from the Information Technology Office.
13. Games are not allowed inside the computer laboratory. This includes computer-related games,
card games and other games that may disturb the operation of the laboratory.
14. Accessing PORNOGRAPHIC sites is strictly prohibited.
15. Computer laboratories are designated for academic use. Students needing to use computers to
complete academic assignments are given priority over those using the facility for recreation.
16. The laboratory assistant has the right to advise any user to leave the premises in case the user
violates any of the policies.
